Augusta Municipal Golf Course

Another day at my favorite course here in Augusta. Staff is great and very friendly as well as the fellow golfers. Always leave with a new friend.

I moved away from Augusta about 5 years ago and I would never play the Patch. I heard that the course was in good shape and I'm glad I played it. Grass was everywhere!! Kudos to the staff!!

Played Augusta municipal for the first time in a few months today. Joined a guy on the first tee the group in front of us was at least two holes away. Was walking off of number one green when some guy in a utility cart that works for the golf course pulled up on # 2 tee box and started playing. This guy hit three different balls each shot. After 2 hours and 25 minutes I quit after hope 8. The course is not in the best of conditions but added that the last three times I’ve played this course I’ve had problems with people that work there I will never play there Again

Greens are small and mostly elevated. There was a 5some playing that really slowed down the pace of play.

I have been playing The Patch for a long time and today I thought I would try it out. The fairways and greens were better than I have seen them in a while. The tee boxes need work but overall the course was in pretty good shape. Still a little high priced but I played in less than 2 hours so that was a plus

My friends and I play here quite often due to the proximity to the house and the cheapness of the deals. Usually, I would rate the course as being sub par in multiple areas but however, the last two times I’ve played here, the greens and fairways were extremely nice. I’m glad to see they are working hard to make improvements.

Definitely worth the drive from Atlanta to Augusta to play a great round and meet some wonderful folks. Stepping into Golf history with the legendary Mr. Jim Dent on hand in the clubhouse made this an awesome day. I can't wait to visit again!

The course is vastly improved in the past five years.

I see much work has been done to the course. Many of the trees and bushes have been cut, to give a more openness. The greens are are very good and I was very impressed on hole 12. The fairway almost seemed like the greens, nicely cut. Kudos to the management and staff.
