Nice course, no management to be seen

Too slow, and too many twosomes that wouldn’t pair up with multiple twosomes. This course could use som professional management. If they would have paired the 4 twosomes ahead of us. We would not have been standing around for 20 minutes a hole. Someone needed to match up the stubborn guys who refused to pair with my husband and myself, and the other 3 twosomes

We hate to hear about your experience at HOGC and we hope you will return to give us the opportunity to show you the outstanding golf course we have here. Unfortunately, on that particular day:

"Perception is reality"

We will certainly make every effort to do better pairing twosomes together but on that particular day we had 187 players with a pace of play at 4 hours and 15 minutes.

Really nice course and great customer service

Although the course was wonderful, I can’t say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the gentleman in the pro shop. Not only did he do everything with a smile but he took extra time to explain everything we would need to know to enjoy the course. Everyone should be as nice as he was and this world would be a better place!

It was a great course. We actually played it because we could get last minute tee times and the didn't have a tournament going on. The price was very fair. It was a nice layout with water everywhere. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I persons with me enjoyed the course. Thank you!!

Our pace of play here at HOGC is currently set at 4 hours 15 minutes and when a cart's pace is longer on a per hole basis the computer notifies the golf shop and a message is sent to the cart(s) asking them to pick up the pace of play.
