Awesome experience
We drove from Tampa to watch a Georgia Southern football game and decided to stop in Brunswick to play golf along the way. I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to write this one.
The course is in great shape. Tee to green it's great. Far better than most Florida courses. What I want to really comment on is the staff and the hospitality of all. From the pro shop to the starter to one of the maintaince employees, there was nothing but positive things to say about all. Too many times we get caught up in just the course, and don't reflect on the overall experience. On Friday, September 8th, Heritage Oaks was a 10+. Will definitely be back to play again.
Just all around a great course to play. Very generous for the lady's tee's on yardage. Perfect place to take the female golfer in your life.
Almost died
The day we played the course was cart path only and in the south meaning a lot of walking and hotter than a tick on the dog of the devil. That’s not the bad part. Not a drop to drink. No on course coolers, no beverage cart. Had to leave early for the fear of heat stroke. Only course in the south that did not offer some form of on course hydration. Will be back. In the winter.
Great course
The course was in good shape and the staff was friendly. The pace of play was great for me and I I plan on coming back.
Great Golf Course
Course is fair, but can be challenging. Not too long, but is tight on some holes. Mix of birdie holes and tough holes.

Great course
First time playing. The course was in good shape. The views and layout was good. The water hazards were not too difficult. The greens were in good shape. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice for a sandwich after play. I plan to play again on my next trip.
Solid course for the money
Good course and overall in good condition. Dome gimmicky placement shot holes but price is right.
Great Layout with fast undulating greens
Great Layout with fast undulating greens. A fair test for most golfers. My only complaint would be the hard greens, the just will not hold a shot, so play short and run it up to the hole.
