Beauty Golf Day

Heritage has been a go to course for me because of previous rack rates were affordable compared to St. Simons Island courses where I live

But with course improvements and the post covid world, both of the owners courses took a leap forward. Heritage has got their greens at a 9.5, and with the cart path improvements. Tee box maintenence levels, the super has done a great job in bringing the course to another level. Golf Now makes it affordable. My Thanks to both entities.

Swamp golf

Looked great until you get out on the course. Super wet

.standing water and mud every shot...not worth 55 dollars...maybe 35 tops..pretty much unplayable. I won't be returning.

We certainly hate to hear about your golf experience here at Heritage Oaks. The day you played was right after several inclement weather days of rain and gusty winds which impacted the course.

The golf course had over 5 inches of rain which caused us to be cart path only. We hope that you will return to HOGC and give us the opportunity to show you the outstanding golf course that we have here.

We do ask that if you decide to play again to call ahead so that we can update you on the course especially if we have had severe weather or any routine maintenance that might impact play.

We take great pride in our golf course and hope that you give us another chance to show you the reason why.

Looking better!

The greens on this course have been very good over several years. The fairways are good. The layout is fine. The issue in the past has been the cart paths. But right after the first of January 2023, they went to work redoing all the paths. They are much improved!!! So happy to see the work that they are doing. And the price is right too! We played Jekyll recently and the greens needed much work. King & Prince and Sea Palms are nice but pricey. Heritage Oaks is a great alternative.

It’s been a while…

It’s been about 20 years since I was last played this course. I didn’t remember much from my last visit other that it was a course I would play again.

I played after several days of very cold weather. The overall course conditions were good. The greens were in very nice condition with good speed for this time of year. The tee boxes (over-seeded) and fairways were good.

The cart paths are original to the course and need attention, but the staff is working on repairing the worn out concrete.

I enjoyed the layout, and will certainly play again on my next visit.
