Heritage Oaks Golf Club

Great (and challenging) layout, greens a little less than prime so the four stars, but everything else was wonderful. Safety available on all holes, but placement is key. And play the elevated white tees at least one round.

We enjoyed the layout of the course. The staff is very friendly.

Heritage Oaks is in great condition. Greens are beautiful green, roll true, do not remember any imperfections. Great value considering the condition of the course

We’re visiting from Atlanta and normally play on Saint Simons Island. We played Heritage today and were very impressed. beautiful marsh views on the 5th and 6th hole. The elevated tee boxes were impressive. We enjoyed the staff who helped with our cart and bags. Hope to play again in early spring. Will recommend.

Course in great shape for this time of the year.. Greens were fast. Golf shop staff were friendly and professional. Provided tips for a first time player. Price point compared to Atlanta where I play, were favorable. Expecting to be back soon!

I have the privelige of living and playing golf in the beautiful Golden Isles. Heritage Oaks Golf Club is a gem and the staff provided remarkable customer service. The layout of the course is challenging but a delight to play.

Golf course is in excellent condition from tee to green!

Staff was great, and the golf course was pristine. Accuracy is paramount, but very fair. Greens rolled great, and the fairways were perfect. Maintenance does a very good job with the course from tee to green. I would reccomend this course to eveyone!!

Played this course at noon on a week day as a single. Didn’t run into a single other golfer and the pro shop (Kevin) was able to hook me up and send me out as soon as I was ready. The course is in great shape and the greens are absolute dart boards. Rolled pure but slower than I remember. Fairways were lush but not furry and all the tee boxes were grass not sand. Would play again soon!!

Heritage Oaks ends with golfers having the option to play a 19th hole that ends at an island green. Who doesn't love bonus golf? Heritage Oaks is a sister course to The Sanctuary Golf Club about 20 minutes away in Waverly. Both are well-cared for and home to really big clubhouses. The best holes at Heritage Oaks are the two holes (the par-4 fifth and par-3 sixth) that escape the housing development surrounding the course and play along a marshy river inlet. A couple of manufactured elevated tees look out of place, but I actually applaud the owner for putting them in. The holes play and look much more interesting from these elevated perches.

It was a fun course to play. Accuracy is important. The fairways smooth and nice, the Bermuda grass rough is not a good place to be. Greens were consistent and smooth. Friendly group of golfers. Yes go there and play around.
