Well maintained golf course!
This golf course was great, the staff were friendly and very accomodating on a very busy day! My brother-in-law visiting from DC really enjoyed this course and cant wait to come back and play again in the spring when the course is in full bloom! Loved the mountain view from the course!

Tough pin locations.
Mossy Creek is a nice corse for the money. Could be better but could also be much worse. Most of the time when I play the pin placements are rediculous, several right on the slope of the greens. This make putting and chipping much more difficult than it should be. I would suggest this course to anyone look for a change of scenery.
This is a good course
I like playing this course because it is close to home. It has good features and some of the holes are difficult but challenging
Great Value!
Mossy Creek is a nice course for procticing uphill / downhill- length holes and the short game...As a Senior golfer. I appreciate the moderate degree of difficulty...The course is fairly- welled maintained; has an accomodating staff...but best of all the fees are very competitive (more so, thanks to your golf sir specials) with tee times accessible up to as late as 24 hrs prior to playing...
One side is hilly, the other is flat. Fairways are hard and difficult to play off of. Greens are so so, not great not too bad.
Sometimes I enjoy this course and sometimes I do not. Hard to explain. There is too much competion nearby that is better all around.
Good course for the cost.
Played on a 45 to 50 degree day with wind gusts up to 30 mph. We were the only people on the course and we had a great time. Would definitely play the course again.
Plenty here to keep it interesting
This was my first time playing Mossy Creek and I'll probably be back at some point. I made a 120m round trip to play it and I wasn't disappointed. The course is relatively short but with the narrow fairways, and challening pin placement, it will play like it's a bit longer. The condition of the course was great...especially the greens which were consistent and manageable. The one negative was that this course will eat balls. That's primarly because of the multitude of small creeks and run-off gullies that criss-cross the course. Of course, these obstacles can be avoided...Just not by me and my high handicap game!
Greens are much better than years ago!
I hadn't played this course in a while as I remember the greens being terrible a few years ago. They are in great shape now and much faster (and more challenging) than what I am used to. Will definitely play again!
This is a fun coures to play and is well wroth it if you pay under $35 dollers
I played this course mid oct and it was in better than fair shape and i will go back and play and would tell any if they played when it was Skit Mt. to go back check it out i did and am glad i did all tho it is not wroth paying over $35 that just my opinion tho...i sure hope it continues to improve
Great value.
Course was in very good condition considering the lack of rain over the past few months. First time playing the course but it will not be the last. Could become may favorite place to play golf. My only recommendation would be to improve the yardage on the score cards, even better would be a yardage book. It's hard to play the course guessing the yardage.
Not too great
Course not in the best shape. Upon arrival a sign said no cards accepted cash only. Going through new ownership again. Ok place just for a round of golf but not the best groundskeeping.
