Beautiful course, but slow play
I love this course!
The layout is fabulous and typically well-cared for.
But the pace of play was unbelievably slow.
The Ranger should have moved some groups past the slow players. Our round was 5 1/2 hours (we only saw him once)
The Starter also inserted people ahead of us at the turn.
In addition, ee never saw the amenity cart in our 5 1/2 hours of being on the course.
A few par 3 greens are over-marked with ball-marks and need a break from the heavy play ( we need a few days of rain and suggest giving cheap divot tools as a marketing effort and hopefully improve course condition).
Still my favorite course, but she needs a break from the action.

Slow
Course is in great shape. With 3 nines your back 9 can get backed up. Played the front in 2 hours and back 9 was 2:45

Nice course but busy
Staff put us on while people coming from turn and we have to wait for 30min to TeeOff.

Gem of a Course
First time playing this course. The greens were excellent, fairways were in good shape for the time of year, and the sand in the bunkers was some of the nicest I’ve seen. Really beautiful course no matter which routing you play. We enjoyed the first 18 so much that we asked to continue through the remaining 9 holes, which at the time was only $12 to continue playing. The cart girls came through at fairly regular intervals, and the food being cooked out at the turn was great! One of the most enjoyable rounds I’ve played in a while.
My only complaint is that pace of play did get slow at times, but a Marshall did come through and told us they had asked the group up front to pick up the pace. The course was also cart path only for some reason, even though the fairways weren’t soggy at all and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Perhaps they are letting the grass come in more and green up.
Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely be back.

Always a good time at
The pro shop staff and starter are friendly and accommodating. There was a tournament during the time I played. Kudos to the staff-The tournament had no effect on the pace of play. I enjoy playing this course. The course is always in great shape.
No sand rakes were available. Maybe this is a response to COVID?
