Great Layout
I have played this course for years. The layout makes you have to work the ball on several holes. Scenic views. Only issue was greens had been punched and no notice. But always love playing the course. GREAT VALUE.
Hot round of golf
Course is in real good shape, even post-aeration of the greens. The only minor inconvenience was pace of play. We were informed at the first tee that the foursome in front of us “always plays slow”. I understand the the course doesn’t want to turn away $$. But if you know a grouping is going to bog things down, then you need to address it with that grouping. You shouldn’t make others pay the price.

Hate posting this because this course is in spectacular shape.... despite green punching they still are rolling great
Great Golf Course
West Pines is an amazing course. There were plenty of challenging holes and the fairways were impeccable. I will definitely be coming back here again.
West Pines Continues its High Standards
I love this golf course. It's one of my favorites and a "go to" course when I don't feel like driving. I broke 80 for the first time this year and probably would have scored better but they've aerated the greens so don't expect a lot from putting. The course is nice and green and well maintained.
Knew they were aerating but wasn’t informed that the back 9 was closed until I arrived..... so needless to say play was painfully slow
Course in great condition
Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Pace of play was great, 4 average golfers finished in less than 4 hours. Didn’t have to wait on anyone and no one pushing us. Good layout. Will definitely play this course again.
Early morning round
GPS in carts was great a little sensitive around the edges of the course and the bunkers. It will shut down and you have to reverse to get out of the area. Other than tat course was in great shape.
Great secret course
If you live in the metro Atlanta area or are visiting and haven’t played West Pines yet, you’re missing out. This place has pure bermuda greens and the fairways and tee boxes are always in great shape. Only thing I can see that needs some work is the range. But don’t let that scare you from this place, it’s a hidden gem right outside Atlanta.
great value and location
Easy drive from ATL + cost of the course makes this a great option. Course was generally in good condition.
One thing that stood out for me compared to other courses in this range was pace of play - they were busy but starter kept things spaced out appropriately so our group was never rushed or held up.
Will be back.

It you want fast greens. This is the course is for you. The overall course is in great shape. I enjoyed myself and will be back soon.
