Great course
I always enjoy playing at Creekside. Great staff and generally the course is always in good condition. Greens were a little rough this time, but likely due to the wild weather shifts lately. 10/10 would recommend to anyone
Great fun!
The course has come a long way since I first started playing here 5 years ago. The tee boxes need some love on a handful of holes. This course offers a challenging set of holes that will test your iron game and lay up ability. The greens are in great shape! Each hole is completely unique and will definitely make you come back again.
Has potential
I heard they recently had their club championship so I figured it would be in good shape. I was wrong. The fairways obviously hadn’t been cut in weeks and the greens were soooooo slow. I asked a maintenance guy when the last time they cut the fairways was and he told me yesterday!! I guess they don’t have blades on their mowers. First course I’ve ever played where I had buried lies in the middle of the fairway.
Last Minute Round
Was in the area and had a few hours to kill so thought I’d give it a try. What a disappointment. Tee boxes looked like a kids playground, all dirty with random patches of different grass and weeds and the same for the fairways. It was almost like playing in someone’s farm field. Cheap round so it didn’t ruin my day but the course itself looks like it’s kept by a blind staff.
Fun course
Great course for the price. Solid layout, carts have yardage equipment too always a plus.
Great staff and very friendly.
Short but deceiving difficult.
I enjoyed playing. Greens are in great shape.
Never again
The course is poorly maintained. Huge red dirt spots with tons of rocks exposed on almost every hole. Cart path is not maintained with many pot holes and really rough. We felt like we were off roading most the time. Trash along the cart paths and weird layout as hole 11 is near the clubhouse instead of 10.
The pace of play was absolutely awful. We ended up at hour five skipping the last three holes and saw a group of five carts ahead of us all together on one hole. The Marshall did come around twice but did nothing to help pace of play.
It was Father's Day so I tried to make it the best but scratched this one off my list of recommended courses.
Difficult course, excellent greens
Played Creekside for the first time in several years. Saturday morning, and they actually had a tournament going on that same time, and the pace was still 4.5 hours (we were a two-some that joined another two-some). The layout is fun, and the greens were almost perfect. Best shape I've ever seen them in, and they were consistent across the entire 18. The fairways could use some work in some areas, but thats most golf courses. Some of the tee boxes were a little sandy, but that is easily overlooked by myself, especially when the greens were so nice. The course is hard, with some narrow fairways, long carries (over water and foliage), not to mention most greens sit atop little hills (don't miss, or roll off). I will defenitely be going back soon.
Challenging
This is a very nice course but narrow. Placement type course. Fun but challenging. Bring a lot of golf balls.
Saturday round
Pace of play was beyond slow and they had no marshals on the course keeping things moving. Over 5 hours to play 18 is way too slow.
