Just ok
The pace of play was extremely slow. The fairways were a bit rough. Greens were in decent shape. They also messed up my starting tee time by 10 minutes. Another group said the same thing happened to them.
I have played this course before. They don't seem to be doing anything to improve the tee boxes. Very hard, mainly sand and dirt. Middle of the fairways, you will have rocks in the grass and dead spots. They allowed a group to stop after the turn and eat, and then go back out when they were done. Because of that, we were sitting 3 deep on tees and waiting shot after shot to hit. I'll stopped round early, and went into pro shop and asked if they put a new group out on the back. They said no it was a group that stopped to eat lunch going back. They said that is why they don't recommend playing after a certain time on weekends. No apologies, no nothing. Rather rude about it and very nonchalant. Won't be going back. Too bad. Nice course layout and fun play.
Golfer
This course has so much potential but the erosion on the fairways ruins so many good shots. It’s tough to lose multiple balls on flushed shots into the fairway but there just isn’t turf along much of the front nine. New carts, bridges, etc. tells me the club is probably making money. The course has great bones if they ever decide to spend money on agronomy.
A challenging course!
In fairness, playing this course as the season opens needs to be taken into consideration. Fairways were dry and pretty uneven so even a well played shot had the propensity to roll afoul! Greens were inconsistent, but again, it’s early in the season. The back nine is challenging as all get out without all the afore mentioned. But hey, if you’re up for a challenge and a good time, and don’t mind playing 19 holes with no bathrooms, the course was challenging and fun!
Not worth the money
The course was hard. Not the layout but the turf. Everything was cut short and no different in the rough or the fairway. Won't be back.
Challenging Layout
The course conditions were truly bad. One tee box on the front 9 actually had grass. I understand the changing of seasons but it was not a $50 golf course. I was a single playing behind a foursome that would not let me through, despite sitting on the tee box as they teed off - multiple times. Took me 2 hours to play 5 holes behind them. Ended up just leaving after 9. Not a pleasant experience and wouldn’t play it again for $50.
Never disappoints!
I’ve played this course many times now and the staff is always friendly. Great vibes all the time and the course is challenging.
As expected for early season
They were doing aerating on the greens on the back 9, so we had to play the front 9 twice. Typical this time of year to have courses do that. The good thing creekside did is they adjusted the price according to conditions for the day and thats awesome they were upfront about everything before i even booked it. A lot of courses dont tell you this until you get there and u still pay top price which is horsecrap! So ya creekside is always a great place to play and very challenging as well! It was nice to see everyone doing their part to keep the course in good condition! Definatley cant wait to go back!
HELP PLEASE......COURSE CRIES!!!
The fees continue to increase at this course while the course itself is trending downward. Newer golf carts are great, but that's about all the good things I can say about this course. Prices need to be lowered until they can prove it's worth what they are charging. In other words, fix the course.
Was Alright
Lots of varied terrain, had a little bit if maintenance going on but overall a good course
Ok greens, but…
The tee boxes were trashy, the fairways were patchy with lots of hard dirt ground, but some grassy areas which meant it was possible to have descent fairways but didn’t. The greens were the best part but not that great. The cart paths were trashed. The pace wasn’t bad. The staff was friendly but small. The island green on the 18th was huge so it wasn’t very intimidating when you are there compared to the pictures. Don’t think I’ll play here again unless they start to address cosmetics.
