About
Jekyll Island Golf Club is Georgia's largest public golf facility, offering three 18-hole courses and a nine-hole course. Two of the 18-hole courses, Pine Lakes and Indian Mound, have similar characteristics since they sit side by side. Both are younger than the Oleander, which is considered the toughest of the three and served as host to the Georgia Open for four years. The Indian Mound Course is the shortest of the three at just under 6,500 yards from the back tees but that is not to say you won't run into a fair amount of challenges. The layout features lengthy par 5s that you wouldn't expect given the yardage, and the par 4s offer scoring opportunities for those who take advantage of the short shots into the green. The Indian Mound Course's main challenges are the undulating greens and abundance of sand.

Fun course
Course was a lot of fun! Greens and fairways were in great condition, a little wet but not bad. A ton of wildlife all over the course! 5 deer on a tee box to cheer me on, or laugh at me! They got me out right away. Very enjoyable round!!!
Nice course overall
Played Indian Mound for the first time yesterday. Was looking for a forgiving, wide- open course where I would not lose many ball. Liked that water did not come into play onmany holes and the sand could be avoided on most holes. Recommend playing from the forward tees if is your first time. Had an excellent overall experience. The price for riding 18 went from $70 to $50 after noon, and the course was not overly busy. Would definitely play IM again!
Always love the Jekyll courses
Me and my girl friend had a great time at the Jekyll island Indian mound course. Was not crowded, state of the art carts, and great over all play.

Enjoyed course design
One problem was armadillo holes all over the tee box and some fairways. Still enjoyed playing the course, playing winter rules
Overall course was good some holes had a lot of divots and mounds of dirt. Greens were in good shape.

Really fun course
We had a great time playing Indian Mounds. The course is pretty open, which is great for a player of moderate ability. The restrooms were not very clean. That is only reason I couldn't give the highest rating.
A nice day
We enjoyed our outing very much. Course was in good shape and the greens were holding well and the putting was quick. We would play it again when on the island.
