About
Jekyll Island Golf Club offers 64 holes of golf, making it the largest public golf facility in Georgia. The courses are a favorite amongst locals and visitors since it's hard to beat the affordable rates. The club features three 18-hole courses and one nine-hole course. Pine Lakes is the longest of the three full-length courses at 6,700 yards from the back tees, though the course is not lengthy by any means. The final hole is the only one on the course with considerable length. The original layout was created in 1968 and underwent a major renovation in 2002. It is similar to the Indian Mound Course, which sits adjacent to it, but Pine Lakes has a more modern bunkering system. Fairway bunkers come into play for long hitters and the bunkers that frame the greens demand accurate approach shots.

Great for the money
I was greeted by friendly staff at the carts and in the pro shop. The greens had been aerated so putting was a bit unpredictable. The layout of the course was fairly wide open. Make sure to bring plenty of water since there are only places to fill up water on 6 and 13. I would play here again because of the cost.
Very enjoyable afternoon
The course was in great shape, the weather was awesome, golf skill a little low but enjoyable afternoon.
Fun
Good vacation golf. Cart GPS was off but otherwise a great fun experience. Staff was friendly and not snobby. Practice area was more than adequate. I’ll be back. Much better grooming than Oleander.
Always love playing at Jekyll on any of the courses.
Excellent Have
Have been on vacation here since 2/29 & this is best public course we have played. Fairways & greens were excellent. Unfortunately rain cane early & had to stop after 10 holes. Wish we had played here earlier.
Indian Mounds
Played Indian Mounds course for first time in a year. The course was in reasonably good condition and not overpriced. Nothing spectacular, but a nice course.
