Old school course just south of Atlanta
I played this course on a cool April Friday morning. The layout is more old school with straight fairways and a compact design. The greens were freshly seeded, no true reads, and there was no sand in any bunker. The fairways were rock hard due to little recent rain. Water does come into play on about half the holes. The staff was friendly and gave us a yardage book. The grill was closed, I assume due to COVID, but there were snacks for sale. I gave 3 stars due to the terrific fee I got on GolfNow. Otherwise, I would have given 2 stars due to the poor course conditions.

Been playing this course a couple times a year for the last couple years. Used to be a much better course. Seems like every outing the greens get worse and worse. Used to enjoy playing here as a tune up, but it idk if I’ll be back.

Today
The greens are in roughy shape and the trees have limbs over hanging several fairways making the hole berry narrow.

Ugliest greens south of Atlanta
I grew up going to this course and it is a real shame to see it in its current condition. The greens are in the worst condition I have ever seen but you really can't beat the price. All of Henry county does come here so there will always be a line. Pace of play is usually good with nice, relatively easy holes. If you are first time player and are looking to get into golf, I recommend playing here. The fairways are rough and the greens look like crap but it you won't feel the pressure of playing somewhere nicer.

A good value for your bucks
Like most courses in its price range there are parts of the course that could use repair or improvement, but the staff and layout make up for that. It's a challenging course with water coming into play on 10 of 18 holes.

Greens need work
I’ve played the course many times but this time the greens were just in bad shape. Not average. Bad. Way too many bare spots in them. What’s the deal?
