Cotton Fields Golf Club, The

It's a nice course but the cart path needs a lot of repairs. A lot of water hazards add to the challenge. I'd go back.

This is a challenging course from the tips, Mr. Bill is a great starter...We really enjoy the course play moves smooth.

This course is older but challenging. My wife enjoyed the red tee locations. We were able to get a rain check when my back gave out !! Thanks a million Shane !

For $25, Course in great shape, pace of play was brisk, greens in really good condition

I played midday as a single had to start on 12 due to tournament play. But went quickly. The greens were excellent. Truly enjoyable for this early in my season

This being the first time playing in this area, I really had no way to compare conditions to any other course. It was comparable to any course in my area, eastern Oregon-west Idaho coming out of winter. Greens rolled fairly smooth and fairways were okay. Overall a good value.

The course is in excellent condition and the staff is above par! Just wish my golf game wasn't!

I have swung by Cotton Fields a few times as I'm driving I-75 for work. It's a great place for a quick round.

Tight tree lined fairways forces accuracy off tee. Basic course after the tee shot. Bunkers don't really come into play. Not enough sand and pretty easy to avoid.

Only issue was there was a lot of leaves in the Fairway and just of the Fairway making it hard to find playable ball. Greens look real good for the fall of the year. Overall great golf course. John and Jason our great guys also.

Good risk reward course with 2 reachable par 5s for the daring player. A bit short from the tips at 6500 but long par 3s definately make it a challenge. Always in good condition, greens clean and true. Probably 8 on stimpmeter. Cart paths can get confusing. Have played before and still got turned around looking for next hole. Good value for price.

Played 12/8/13, misty rain but not a lot of standing water on the course. Keep extra good eye on stray balls off the tee if you don't the leaves will take them and trust me you won't get them back. The rough is twice as hard to work through wet even on short chip's so do yourself a favor and club up. All and all nice round on a good course.

The Greens were great, good pin locations and speeds.

We played Cottonfields it was very nice well-kept and the greens were very nice. The course itself was remote, quiet and with lots of natural woods lining the edges, not a lot of trees on the course or the fairways. They do need to put up some signs as where the next hole is from the greens, as this was our first time playing here, we got lost several times.

I usually play this course a couple of times a year. The cooler temperatures have really helped the greens. They were in great shape, rolled well, and were soft enough to get some spin and hold. I played the ball down and never felt I got a bad lie in the fairway. If the price was right I would definitely get back out there before the end of the year. Overall a great value for Sunday play using Golf Now for hefty discount. We must have hit the tee time just right because we never had to wait and ended up letting a group play through.

Cottonfields is moderatly difficult course. A good bit of water hazards, but you can avoid most from the white tees. The fairways are wide and well maintained. There is very few thick woods so you don't lose many balls if you stay dry.

I played in October and the grass was green and lush. The course maintenance was a little sloppy in the past, but the last few times I played it was almost pristine.

I read the reviews before booking like I always do before booking a time at a new course. I have to admit I was a little nervous about making the drive from Marietta but since I booked a Hot Deal time I reassured myself it was worth the risk. I arrived to only find ten cars in the parking lot. First thought: have I made a mistake and wasted my Saturday? Granted, it was chilly today but sun was shining. I was pleasantly surprised from tee to green! What a nice layout with several water holes, risk/reward shots, and very receptive greens. True, the cart path was horrible but I am not paying for a nice cart path---I am paying for a nice golf experience. I played the blue tees (tips on this course) and there were a few tight tee shots back and in between trees. Bunkers were inconsistent but luckily I was only in two during the day. The balls will roll further than you think along the fairways which were a little harder than I expected but still nice and maintained.

Do not overlook this little hidden gem. The course is open but if you get too aggressive, you could end up in trouble. I will play this course again as it is a great value. Could there be a few more signs between holes?...yes, but you can figure out which way to go. Note: be careful when reading reviews on GN as they are not as accurate as what you see on the course.

I have played this course for years and have never been disappointed; It is always in good condition. This course is fun, a challenging layout with well kept greens and scenic views.

As others have pointed out the area around the greens were wet but it didn't affect me too much. Also, the greens were so soft that I felt like a pro backing the ball up. But it's a good, interesting course although they could stand to cut down a few trees off the tee box especially if you can't fade on demand.

Very forgiving fairways (pretty open). Just a great course in my opinion. Highly recommend this course. I will be playing here more and more.

Cotton Fields is one or my favorite courses in the area. Would play it more if interstate traffic wasn't so bad.
