Oasis in the city.
I thoroughly enjoyed my round @ The Cotton Fields. The fairways & greens were in great shape especially for December. The setting is beautiful. It's easy to forget you are in the middle of warehouses & car lots. The freeway noise is a reminder but it's quickly put out of your mind. I will play there again & bring friends.
Quality Course...
I really enjoy playing Cottonfields there are only a few things I would suggest.
1. The Tee Box's on 9, 15 &16....need to be redone!
2. Would be nice to having practice Bunkers..
3. It's a little pricey, maybe a $5 deduction in fees..

Like the layout - like the people
Starter paired me up with two gentleman who had the same level of skills that I had. Enjoyed the round and will go back again
course is laid out for all levels
The course is ok but retains water,so if you go after a rain the fairways hold a lot of water.The greens are in ok shape,but need attention.No one repairs their ball marks,maybe because they may feel pushed so as not to hold up the group behind them.
Playable
I've played this course many times. It's a good value, fairly scenic, and can be challenging.
Poor Green
The greens were very soft, slow and uneven. Our round on a day that did not seem overly busy required over 5 hours. The staff did nothing to manage the pace of play.
Always well maintained course
Always enjoy playing this course. It is moderately challenging with several exceptional holes. The course is exceptionally well maintained for a public course and the fees are very reasonable.
