Value
Great value for the price. Very bumpy everywhere while driving, greens in good shape, but tee boxes definitely worn down! Overall, played fast and had fun.

great little course for the price
one of my favorite "whole in the wall" gold courses! very laid back and friendly staff and usually no need to book a tee time...

Would have been nice
Would have been nice to know they were closed. I’m from out of town. We were staying on Hilton head island for the week and decided to play here in the morning because we had something to do in savannah later that day. Got up early and drove an hour out there just to find out it was closed. If I make a tee time and pay to reserve it, I would like to be notified if the place is closed. I hate to leave a 1 star review because of this.. but it was incredibly inconvenient .

Sorry about the course being closed due to 2 1/2 inches of rain the day before your tee time. I understand the frustrate since GolfNow was notified that morning and to contact anyone on the tee sheet. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience.

A great little course to get in a quick round... Not perfect, but not priced like a pristine course.. Very friendly staff.. The greens were good, the fairways need to grow in a bit.. Overall a fun round..

Train
First time playing course. We arrived at train track one hour prior to our 8:30am tee time so we can hit some balls on range before playing our round. There was a train already stopped over the only entry to the course and at least 8 cars that were already in front of us with their engines off.
We called a couple times to advise club house of the situation but MC has an answering service that fields their phone calls. The answering service has no knowledge of the train or it’s schedule.
I find it pretty poor customer service to not advise customers of this extreme inconvenience. I can not understand how they offer so many tee times that they know will be impacted due to the train.

Don’t waste your money.
This may be the worst courses I have ever played. Fairways were mowed down to the dirt. They greens were burnt and filled with holes and dead spots. If you hit into the rough you better have a good idea where your ball went.

Not bad
The course is positioned in the International Paper entrance. I would recommend not purchasing a tee time before 8am due to the trains blocking the entrance to the course. Friendly staff, just had to wait an hour for the train to warm up. Would recommend if looking for an inexpensive place to play near downtown Savannah and just want to enjoy golf.
Solid course for good play
They had just aerated the greens, but did tell us that up front, and gave a discount for it. For a 9 hole course, it plays well. Some longer holes that give a solid challenge. Not a lot of difficult shots necessarily, but a fun time, quick pace of play, and a good atmosphere
