Fox Creek Golf Club

Course conditions were great. Five hours to play was not. Should not let twosome’s out on the weekend.

This is a well-maintained short (under 4000 yd par 62) executive course that features a number of uphill and downhill layouts with a few water-challenged tee shots. Generally friendly layout that does not punish bad shots. Few, if any, fairway bunkers. A single 400 yd par 5 offers the widest fairway on the course. Greens are small, are generally contoured, and tend to play fast. A lot of parallel fairways with potential for errant shots ending up on an adjacent fairway.

Overall a great value and a fun course to play. I was unfortunately stuck behind very slow players and was waiting several minutes to tee off at each hole. This is not typical though in my experiences here. No one was out on the course to manage the pace of play. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and amenities were nice. Standard hotdogs and beverages served at the club house .I have golfed here before and I will definitely be golfing here again.

Really liked this course. Shorter than most, but nice layout. Cart path was rough in a few spots. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the scenery and a unique course.

I am local to the course and have been playing here for as long as can remember. The course has been shaping up for the last couple of years. But yesterday, the Teeboxes were great, except for maybe 2, too hard to push your tee into the ground. Fairways are nice and green. The greens themselves, are in better shape now, then I have seen in a long time. Great Job Bobby Jones!

Had a 5pm tee time and the shop recommended we only pay for 9 holes since we may not finish 18, makes sense! We finished our 9 holes pretty quickly (great pace!) and the ranger made it very clear we were not to continue playing as we only paid for 9. Again totally fair, however the ranger was pretty aggressive and rude. I simply called the shop and asked if we could pay for the additional 9 holes since there wasn’t anyone in front of us or behind and they said that wasn’t a problem at all. Really like these courses and have been going for years now but that experience with the ranger left a bad taste with the whole group. Why not offer for us to pay for additional play instead of aggressively telling us to stop? Seems like a weird business move. Might go back since it’s close to work.

Nice small course at fair price point. New carts. Good driving range. Layout is fun. One star less as very very slow pace of play.

Fix Creek has always been a decent Executive course and has always struggled with pace of play issues (for various reasons). Course is a 5/10 at best - which is good given the volume of play it gets. Staff has been good to me over the years.

This is an excellent course. Nice fairways and greens, tee boxes need more maintenance but overall great course for the money.

Hi! I am kind of a beginner golfer and have played at 5 different courses now. This is the only course that they teamed my boyfriend and I up with another couple, had us skip the first hole to catch up with these people, and then the course was backed up until it haled about half way through the day and most people left. Pace of play is too fast. If I am paying $45 to play this course, do not ask me to skip a hole and do not shove people one after another on to the course.

Pace of play at this course is awful. You should easily finish it in under 3 and a half hours but it took us over 4 with how close the tee times are to each other. We spent 20 minutes waiting tee off on one hole, on a par 3…

its my favorite course when we do an outing with my wife and daughter included as it creates good fun for everyone without too much challenges hitting over water or long holes. Course is in really good shape although greens had indentations from aerating still. Sand was also a bit hard and not raked in awhile. for the money, you can't beat this though.
