Nice mature course with friendly staff. The course is not over played and the grounds crew does a great job keeping the greens and rest of the course very playable.

Course is in bad shape August 2020
This was my second time playing Hilldale. In 2020 most the courses are in phenomenal shape because in the spring they were able to minimize a lot of traffic due to Covid. Today was the worst condition golf course I’ve played in the entire year in Chicago. You can tell they are cutting back by not watering the golf course at all the bunkers have weeds growing in the bunkers and very cheap Santa fill the bunkers. The tea boxes were in the worst shape of everything. Both the tea boxes were dirts or you had to go step back to find a piece of grass. Highly disappointed with this course it’s in serious need of help. Highly disappointed with this course it’s in serious need of help.

Pretty decent shape.
Sand traps need better attention. Otherwise pretty good course over all.

This is my second round at this great facility. The course is beautiful and challenging. It’s well maintained with great amenities and friendly staff. A great outing!

Not Credited for Round
We were told that we would see a credit in our account for not finishing the round. We stopped golfing after 9 holes as there was a storm rolling in. The lady at the pro shop promised that we would be credited for the back 9 but could not issue it at the time. We still have not seen this credit in our Golf Now Account

Rangers need to speed people up and course needs work
It's a nice course that needs work traps need to be raked by the course since there are no rakes in the Trap looks like it has not been done in weeks also they need to spray and cut the weeds that are in the traps the weeds are ridiculous growing out of some of them and area should be marked off for repair the Rangers needs to seriously speed people up we had a foursome behind a twosome and we were constantly waiting and they had no one in front of them we should not have had to play in over 4 hours during the week I thought that was their job

Course was in good condition only problem we had was group behind us hitting up and when they caught up told us we were playing slow
