Course has been left to rot
“Pro Shop” was a folding table in the cart barn. The giant clubhouse that was there was locked up not being used. Bathroom was a port-a-potty in 90 degree heat (just imagine). Back nine was completely closed, had to play front nine twice. Fairways were half there, half not. To top it all off, the greens were just punched on 7/11 and they tried to charge us full price. After my third comment, they cut the price in half. I can respect that the greens need to get cared for, but this should’ve been communicated ahead of time, and the rest of the experience was abysmal at best.

Summer Golf
Reading prior reviews, everyone complaining about tee boxes. Yes there are a little rough but they are working on them. I saw them re soding today. Greens where in good shape, there are a few bare spots on the fairway but nothing affected me, I played from golds which is a good tee for average players. I teed off early in the morning and there was no one out there(weekday). I do wish the rate was 5-10 less since there the clubhouse is being worked on and the porta potties outside. I knew about this and hit up the Publix near by before the round. Staff was super friendly at check in and the Marshall John was nice. Cart has GPS as well which is a good feature.

Dirt Tee Boxes
The course layout was really nice, but the amount of money they charge is too high for how poorly the course is maintained. Most of the tee boxes were dirt and embarrassing, and lots of big dirt patches throughout the fairways. There are too many other options to choose from and at much for reasonable cost...

Nice layout.....
..... but course needs attention. Tees are ragged, no sand in bunkers;.lots of bare ground & erosion.

Great course
Overall the course is great. They are currently going through some renovations on the course and the clubhouse. Great value for the course.
Wish there were more holes to hit driver on.

Terrible conditions
Played a Sunday round for $72. No practice green, bad tee boxes, either hard dirt or puddles in nearly every bunker. Terrible conditions at a higher price than most courses near Atlanta. Course layout also required a lot of laying up off the tee which isn’t my favorite.
Some tee boxes were also difficult to find (probably because they have so many temporary boxes), they generally have a lack of signage throughout the course. Also poorly maintained around the side of the cart path / fairway so it got tricky getting to / from the cart path on several holes.
Clubhouse was being renovated, which is fine, but they didn’t offer any food for purchase at the temporary check in spot, and no food / bev cart. They told us they had a good hot dog / burger deal but when we called ahead for it on 9 they told us there was a change of plans and it was down the street at the tennis courts (no where near the 9th or 10th hole).

Not worth it…
Tee boxes were absolutely torn up and muddy. Pace of play got so bad we skipped three holes. Called Marshall but nobody came. Bathrooms are port a potty’s and the kitchen and club house are closed for renovation. I think they were very liberal with the term “country club”

Like this course but…
The “smart” carts are brutal. Constantly locking you down for no apparent reason. Paired with the deteriorating conditions you should consider another course.

Tee Boxes are nonexistent.
Greens are ok, but so much of the course is full of dirt patches. The tee boxes are brutal. The attached picture is the 18th hole teebox.
No warmup putting green.
The layout is such that you only use driver twice in the first 9.

Spend your money somewhere else
Played here many times and I dont know why, greens are all messed up, fairways are half dirt, and tee boxes are non existent. Pace of play is horrible, for the money there are a lot better in the area.

Course was in great shape considering all the recent rain. Tee boxes under repair, but ok. Enjoy the course always.

Course in terrible condition
They're trying but the course is in terrible condition. No pro shop right now. They're running it out of the cart shed. Never once saw a beverage cart attendant come by. Most of the tee boxes are dirt and the course is overrun with weeds on many holes. Several of the green on the front nine have moss and what appears to be a fungus starting to spread. The weather was beautiful today but the course was empty. Totally understand why now. Overall, a terribly disappointing round. Even the golf now hot deal was a terrible value.
