About

Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

Return to Mystery Valley

This was our first round of golf that we played at MV in over 3 years. The course is in the best shape we've seen it in more than 10 years. The fairways, rough, and sand traps were in very good conditions, and most of the greens were excellent, although some had dark bare spots, but the ball rolled true. If you haven't played the course in awhile, it's worth trying again.

Great course for the price

Overall the course was in great condition. The greens were a little slow but rolled smooth. I would play this again especially for the price. I am about 45 minutes away but I will try and get back here again.

Stacked Tee Times on Labor Day Holiday

The course has a nice layout and the conditions have improved over two years ago, especially the greens. Unfortunately the tee times must have been set for only 10 minutes apart. So i ended up leaving after playing only 7 holes even though I had paid for 18 holes.

Mystery Valley Improving

I have played the course a number of times over the years. Yesterday's round found the course in the best condition I have played it. The greens were true and the fairways in good shape. Attention to worn tee boxes was observed and the sand traps were maintained. It looks like some responsible and effective management has been implemented. The only negative is that the trap rakes are in bad shape and the course needs more of them as a means to encourage their use.

Good for the bucks

This is first time my daughter played in the actual golf course. We had a good pace on the course and the green was pretty good condition . One thing , I wish the course had a better on the green.
