Pine Hills Golf Club

Some of the tee boxes are dry and worn. The fairways are a little dry with brown spots and some rocky areas that my ball seems to find quite often. The greens are all in good shape and a pleasure to putt on. Overall the course isn’t too bad for this time of year.

Great time but for some reason this course doesn’t come up when you want to add it to GHIN.

Typically rough around the edges, but playable areas generally in decent shape. Fairly wide open, but with a couple of forced carries. Local knowledge is helpful as there are a few shots where you can not see the landing area. Decent variety of holes. Old style bermuda greens were pretty slow, but fairly smooth. Always pleasant clubhouse personnel.

Course was decent, first time playing pace of play was horrible course was packed full played as a solo took 5hrs to finish greens had no consistency one was fast others were slow was hard to get in a rhythm with a extremely slow play pace average wait 20-25 min a hole

We love this course as the greens are immaculate. However, the fairways are dry and dusty sometimes you’ve gotta move your ball onto grass so you don’t ruin your clubs.

Unfortunately we got stuck behind players in a tournament and it was a 4 1/2 hour round.

It would be great if the course would list online that there is a golf tournament going on as we would’ve played another day.

There is no bathroom on the course except for the clubhouse.

The owners and the staff are super nice and friendly

First the tee time was 10:00am, we had to wait until 10:45am before we could tee off because they had a tournament going on! Most courses will not let you

Book if they have a tournament. Maybe they need the money! I used to enjoy the cheap golf but they have gone downhill since I played there last.

I was pleasantly surprised with pine hills. Will definitely be back. Way nicer than I expected for a $40 Sunday morning tee time.

I really enjoy this course and I’m thankful to have a place close by to play. The layout is sufficiently challenging and for the most part the fairways are in good shape. No doubt, it’s the most affordable golf in town. The greens are typically a little slower than other courses, but a little warm up and you can quickly adjust your game to prepare.

Where this course could improve (at no cost to them) would be to simply honor the sophistication and history of the game by upping the requirements of their guests - collared shirts, proper attire, policing people blasting music from their golf carts, etc. Golf is a fun game and a social one, but your ‘fun’ shouldn’t be disruptive to others.

I haven’t played this course in a couple years. Boy have they made some improvements! The greens were better than I have ever seen them and the tee boxes and fairways are very much improved too! It was a little crowded, but it’s probably because everyone else knows what a great value this course is at half the price of surrounding tracts. Great job!
