Great Value
Playing here is always a good value for the not so serious golfer. I will say the greens were in the best condition I have seen in a long time.
Worst course ever
I have never seen a course as this pathetic excuse for a golf course. From the golf carts, “driving range”, pace of play and the quality of grass…. Had an 1250 tee time and couldn’t tee off until 2:15. Everything thing sucked. No idea how this course doesn’t have negative star reviews. The people working are kind but need to sell this land to someone that can make this playable.

Decent course but not worth the money for 18
Not bad design, greens are ok but should be cheaper to play this course given the location. Way better courses in Athens and Metro-Atlanta.
Golf was played
Another fine outing at Pine Hills. Never expect too much from this course but it improves with each play. Greens are in remarkably good shape. Even the cart paths are getting some love. Obvious improvements are noted throughout course. Great value for the money. Can’t wait until everything starts greening up. A nice get away from the city and the people there are very nice. Will play again.
Not going away
Obvious improvements are ongoing on the course. Greens are in good shape and very tricky. Fairways haven’t started growing yet so many tight lies. Overall had a fun round with another couple. I hope they invest in the more cushioned golf carts as it is a very bumpy ride!
Lots of tight lies
Course was dry but winter turf conditions in play for sure. Lots of tight fairway lies (with dormant grass this time of year) and at least some bare ground on many holes. Greens were smooth but quite slow. Staff very friendly and good deals on tee times available through golfnow, I'll be back in the spring once the grass grows back.
