solid course
overall it’s solid for the price. greens are the best thing this course has. the fairways and tee boxes are rough to say the least. staff doesn’t seem to want to be there which i can’t blame them because i used to work at a course as well. i’ve been here before and will be back because there is no public courses in the athens area sooooo there’s not any other options for this price range.
Price increase, poor course
They have raised the price to play, but putting no money back into the course. Fairways are awful and greens were beat up. Never again.
Low rate -Low Value
Hardly a lick of grass on the fairways if you could call them that. Greens under spring renovation, aeration and sand. Had groups cut in front of us on 10th tee. Very poor experience.
No Thanks
I chose this course because it was not to far from home. The greens were not great at all. The aeration was different that I have ever seen. The holes were big enough to stop the ball from rolling. This was a practice round. Nothing more...nothing less.
Good value for money
Good value for money if you’re an amateur and want to practice.
Value for a round.
Some tee boxes bare and uneven. Bare spots in fairways. Greens in pretty good shape.
Great Value
Playing here is always a good value for the not so serious golfer. I will say the greens were in the best condition I have seen in a long time.
Worst course ever
I have never seen a course as this pathetic excuse for a golf course. From the golf carts, “driving range”, pace of play and the quality of grass…. Had an 1250 tee time and couldn’t tee off until 2:15. Everything thing sucked. No idea how this course doesn’t have negative star reviews. The people working are kind but need to sell this land to someone that can make this playable.
It was a satisfying round.
