Good course for working on your game
Only been playing a couple years now and this is one of my overall favorite courses; I’m on the cusp of breaking 90 so for me was great for working on my game and trying to improve but still felt like a well designed course. Most holes were relatively forgiving so if you hit a bad shot it’s not necessarily a crazy difficult recovery shot. First time playing there so not sure how the greens are usually but they were still slightly sanded and weren’t too fast which I appreciated. The staff and groundskeepers were super friendly and nice! I will definitely be back!
Overbooked.
There was a line for the first tee box, which caused us to tee off 30 minutes later than our tee time. We waited every tee box with multiple people lined up behind us, and it took us (2 people playing a scramble) 3 and a half hours for 9 holes. Just overbooked. Definitely needs bigger gaps in between tee times!
Great Course for money
Is it a hard course? No. Is it the prettiest course ever? Na. But you and I both know you’re picking it because it’s $30 per 18 holes, and honestly it’s great. The greens are in great shape (better than a lot of places I’ve seen for double the price). It’s fun, staff is friendly, and there’s never too many people on it
Great Value
This is a fun course for the money. Especially when they have a $23 deal. The greens were in very good shape. Only had one backup on hole 15 which is my least favorite anyway, so I skipped to 16 and finished out without a wait.
Always a good one
Best bang for the buck, greens were absolutely perfect this round.
Home course will always play with friends and family and the staff treats you like family
A good course for beginners or to use as a practice round
Worth the $28 for a practice round. I will play again. Fairways need a lot of work. Lots of dirt patches. Greens are very slow. You can see a slight remanence of the aeration that must have happened a few weeks ago. Course layout is fun and can be challenging. Pictured is hole number 3, from the blue tees.
Pine Hills is awesome!
This place really knows what they are doing. The pricing for the golf with a cart can not be beat. In addition the food and drink prices are unheard of, you can get a hotdog and a coke for 3 bucks!!! The staff are so friendly and helpful.
No rushing around trying to stay up with the groups in front of you. Everybody will just let you play thru or play with them. Such nice people. Would recommend this place to all of my friends. Thank you Pine Hills!
Crazy this place is still open
If you looking too have fun with buddy’s who never play golf sure go here. If your looking too scratch every iron you have definitely go too pine hills. My front yard has softer ground then this place. Tee boxes are legit sand traps. Fairways are country grass and weeds. Greens are so long you’ll regret practicing there for when you go too a actual well maintained course. Spend the extra 25-35$ on a nicer course of your going too play serious and want too have a decent game !!! Will never go back too this cow pasture
