First time
For the money, I thought it was pretty good. Pace of play on back 9 was horrible. Had a group of 5 that was slow as could be. Marshall did nothing and the group didn’t care.
Slow Greens
Enjoyed the course and round except greens were really slow and bumpy at times. Lost probably 5-6 strokes trying to adjust to greens. Otherwise great layout and good value for price.
Kevin's Winder Play
This is a good course to go practice on. Its inexpensive and the day we went it wasn't overcrowded. The greens were a little slow, but it s a great chance to get out and get. a round in at a reasonable rate.
1st time for everything!
I have passed on this course several times for whatever reason, so I decided to give it a shot. And I’m glad I did, from the friendly welcome by the couple behind the register to just the people that were all in line behind me waiting patiently as if they were not 1st timers. The fairways were in good shape and greens were slow but I didn’t have an issue with them…just hit it harder. Tee boxes were hit and miss at times but my biggest complaint was that I hadn’t given this course a chance. I will be back again, like next week and plan on getting my friends to come also.
Great course for the average golfer
Great course for the average golfer. Nice clientele and staff. No pressure and it's wide open.
Great course but be aware!
Fun course to play. Especially for the price. The only negative comment would be a lot of holes the tea boxes are close together so felt like we were dodging errant tee shots or Fairway shots all day long.
Kev & Linda
Good older public course. Great for practicing the game
Good value
This track is a good value for the money spent. It's not Cheatau Elan, but fun to play to learn the game or just play for the fun of it. Not a difficult course and the people are always friendly.
Below average
The conditions of the greens were astonishingly bas. It’s like they hadn’t been kept up in 10 years. The layout to some people may be challenging and fun, not all holes were bad, but too many blind shots and holes that simply just didn’t make sense. Yardage markers were way off. Tee boxes had weeds growing out of them. All carts were filthy and didn’t even have a booklet to keep score.I wouldn’t come back here even to play for 5$. This course is in all seriousness only good for practicing…and at that point just hit your closest driving range and the conditions of it will probably be much better than this course.
