Practice Course a Value Play
The staff were polite is a Southern way, Meaning they smile, but don’t mean it. I selected this course based on availability of an early Tee time and the cost. The fairways were in rough shape, grass dried out, dirt patches a plenty. Had a couple of knee jarring instances while walking over to my ball in the fairway. The ground looked level but wasn’t so leg travel was unexpectedly low. The greens were good shape so kudos there. Due to course layout best to stay alert for incoming balls from different tee boxes. For me this is a one and done spot, no need to return.
Horrible treatment from the staff!
The unprofessional attitude of their staff is reflected in the terrible conditions the course is currently in.
My family are proud honest military and the fact that you would accuse us of trying to cheat you out of $15 is completely unacceptable.
Then the manager on duty was defensive and unprofessional about a matter that he doesn’t know the full details of.
If you have any dignity or integrity, don’t play at this course
Course was a little crowded
The course was crowded once we got there. We didn’t know they required a tee time but we booked one on golf now after we arrived. We passed time at the range and still got to play 18 about an hour later. Overall a good course, obviously for how many people were there. Pace of play on the weekends will probably be pretty slow due to the popularity.
Great value for price. They are working on course to bring conditions up.
Pine Hills
The staff were super friendly, and we actually liked the decades-old clubhouse as it created a nostalgic old school golf feeling. Outside of that, the course was in very poor shape pretty much on every single fairway, rough and green. If you're looking for a world class manicured golf course, this is definitely not it. If you want to have a few beers and hang with some good friends in a friendly atmosphere, you are in the right place.
