Pine Hills needs rain in the worst way.
The fairway have lots of roll, but no grass to hit from. Greens are slow but still in good shape. Quite a few tee boxes are toast. Considering the course condition I think they should roll their prices back a few years.
Avoid It
Just avoid it. Don’t fall for the good reviews. Save the money and go play somewhere decent. Played this course over 2 years ago and decided then I wouldn’t come back but unfortunately decided to give it another shot. Staff seemed like they would rather me leave than pay them money to play there. I stay local and the course is always slammed due to the favorable prices but unfortunately no renovations/upgrades are in sight which could turn this fun layout into a great place to play regularly.
Great course for the money
If you’re expecting a country club experience than go to Chimneys or somewhere that’s triple the cost. This is a great course for beginners and also golfers who want the laid back experience. Anyone complaining about this course is being disingenuous. For the money you really cant complain.
Need fairway!!
Greens are very slow
Fairways are non existent and mostly dirt.
Thats why is cheapest around.
Good course if you just need to walk around hitting some balls.
Great course
Nice course, beginner friendly
Nice course, everyone was friendly . Pace of play was good
No frills
Great for what it is. Nothing fancy, not in the best shape but cheap and good place for beginners
Fun course for beginners
Short course with decent layout. Absolutely cannot beat it for the price point. Greens are in surprisingly good shape. Only downside is they do not have refreshment carts or beer sold on site. Overall a great place for beginners. It is not uncommon for a prime time weekend round to only last a little over 4 hours.
Good value
Winter rule on fairways
Bad places in the fairway
Potential
Not a long track but some challenging holes. Greens were a bit slow but in great shape. Staff friendly and helpful. I'll play it again
Recent Round
The greens are an immaculate condition. The fairways are less than desirable. Very dry not much grass in some places.Too many players need to space out tee times. Love the owners have been playing her for decades.
