Kahili Golf Course
About
Kahili Golf Course is positioned on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains, offering picturesque views of the regal Haleakala and the Pacific Ocean.
The world-class layout is a popular stop for visiting and local, amateur and tournament golfers alike. The par-72, 6,554-yard course, constructed in 1991, was designed by Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright.
Elevation changes are the norm at Kahili, with par 3s on the back side laying up and downhill to small greens. A lake and a dry creek bed are in play on the front side, making accuracy a necessity. And the par 5s are short enough to give long hitters a chance at birdies and eagles.
Kahili features beautiful practice facilities with a driving range and putting and chipping greens. Golfers can relax after a round at Kahili Restaurant, which offers good food at value prices. Also, for golfers with larger party needs, the Nahele Banquet Room is the ideal location for weddings, reunions, business meetings and seminars.

Kahili Golf Course
This was my second round of golf at Kahili Golf Course. The staff is very attentive to any players needs. I arrived early and was able to go out early. The course was in great shape and a great value from the GolfNow site. Thank you for making my golf at Kahili a memorable experience! Matthew Smith, Vancouver, WA
Wet and windy
Prepaid for a screaming' deal, but rain made us rethink our strategy. Beautiful layout, but hard to appreciate with the wind blowing the rain horizontally in our face and backs. Felt like Scotland except hillier . Would definitely return for another round.
awesome deal
It's hard for me to play all the other expensive courses around Maui when you can play this beautiful well designed course...it's flying first class but paying coach fare...
great golf experience
Only downside was extremely slow play. Went out as a twosome and had to wait on every shot. needed a course marshal to speed up play. Did not see one on the course. Were able to spend time with the twosome in front and in back of us on several tee boxes.
Absolutely beautiful and well maintained layout however.
A Hidden Gem
The lower prices initially drew me to Kahili, I wanted to golf Maui and not pay $100-$200 a round. I was mildly skeptical as the other courses on island were much more expensive and the King Kamehama was right next door.
I couldn't have been more wrong.
This course was absolutely amazing and was by far WAY MORE BEAUTIFUL than so many others on island. I made a comment to my friend about some of the courses in Lahiana, how they were so boring (a few trees, all flat down by the water).
This course was great and challenging with some pretty good dog legs and a few water hazards/bunkers. The staff was great and made the experience even that much better.
If you're going to golf Maui, go here. Don't waste your money on more expensive places. Also, the views were absolutely unbeatable!
Great course, Great fun, Great staff
We enjoyed playing their. The course is challenging, but everyone can play, and have fun.
Fun challenging course, a liitle over booked
See discrption in the title, thanks. Very slow pace of play, in a weekday off the first tee.
Best course, best view on Maui
If you only play one course on Maui, this should be it. Trade winds are sometimes string, but we're moderate on the two days we played. Aloha Friday rates can't be beat!
Maui Golf experience
Played nearly every course in Maui, and this is the best value and most challenging on any!
Great course, amazing staff!
We had a great day with light winds. I can't wait to go back.
Nice place to play
Excellent course. Friendly and welcoming.
Course was in nice shape, good greens and was fun and challenging.
Beautiful course
A bit windy up on the hill but it felt wonderful. This is a must play whenever we are in Maiu, played it twice this time. Lovely views, bring your camera and enjoy.
Golf Now saved us AT LEAST half the fee, always use this for your golf rounds!
BEHIND A 5 SOME
Started out on first hole raining. A five-some ahead of us who had no golf etiquette. We were a two some and they didn't offer to let us play through - in fact, ignored us. We ended up skipping a hole to get in front of them. If we hadn't done that, it would have been a 5+ hour round. Sun came out after we started the back nine.
Great value, excellent shape
To me, this course is the #1 value on Maui. Great deal for $58 riding. Excellent condition, great staff. moderate level of difficulty, not super long.
Some holes have short lengths, but play up at least 30+ yards due to the wind. The day we played, we walked on and finished a 2 some in 3 hours. Excellent greens. Fair amount of sand, not a lot of water to hit over,
Also, no housing on the course makes it nice and scenic, although there are no "right up there" ocean holes like at Kapalua, Ka'anapali or Wailea.
Challening course
Will definitely play again.
Course could use a couple of more signs for the holes.
best public
Best public course ever for the price.
Best value in Maui
no negatives
Perfect Relaxing Round
The staff was wonderful . The course was beautiful. Fantastic scenery. All made for a fun round of golf.
Will Be Back
Not only a GREAT value for Maui, but a really fun course to play with 18 quality holes. I've played Wailea Gold and Emerald, Makena North, etc and Kahili is on par with these courses for less than half the price. Although no ocean-side "wow factor", there are still great views and scenery everywhere you look. Probably the only Maui course I will play from now on...it's kind of a no-brainer.
Must play in Maui
Kahili is such a great course, nice good challenge when its windy. Great value for the price, super nice and friendly staff. Don't waste your money on the over priced resort courses
Great Par 3s
Very good layout. The strength of this golf course is in the very interesting par 3's. They all require careful club selection because they play up and downhill, downwind, across or against the stiff trade winds . Easy to make a double bogey or worse if you're not careful.
