Tamarack Golf Club

As expected, slowed up on th back 9, but had a nice round.

It's still early in the spring, but generally, the course was iin good shape. The fairway bunkers could have used a bit of work, but the ones by the greens were in good condition. It's a tight course with lots of water and sand. Certainly knowing where the water comes and goes is helpful. I would definitely play ere again.

is being made you can see the improvements , the sand traps need work in addition to needing more sand!

I wish they can do something on the course, everything looks terrible. Put some money to repair and provide sand for us to repair..

If you’re looking to get out and swing in fall Tamarack is a great place to get out and play! With challenging holes and fun par 3’s it’s always a good time to swing the clubs.

I felt kind of led-astray by a lot of the reviews. Besides the bunkers (they actually were pretty bad) the course had solid conditions and a challenging/interesting layout considering for what I paid. Greens rolled fairly true, fairways were well taken care of, the and the staff was as nice as they needed to be. No range for a course this tough is something that kind of sucks. All things considered, this was a decent round of golf and I’d certainly play it again. Rating this any lower than a 3 comes off as snobby.

Played once before and although seemed like no staff, no proshop(say have one, cant even buy balls), and couse not in best shape. Decide to try again as close. The staff was unprofessional, like they were upset we had payed to play. We had one person in our group that was going to he late, we talked with the staff member about teeing off and our buddy meeting us on second or third hole, skipping. He showed up and the same staff member played dumb and sent him away. Absolutely disgust with how we were treated. This place was unprofessional, unorganized and would never recommend to anyone.

Tamarack is a great course, super challenging, and the condition of the greens and fairways is excellent. We've been in a drought most of the summer and everything is still nice and lush. Played today, and even after green aeration and over-sanding we could still have an enjoyable round with no issues putting. All the grounds crew was super conscientious about quieting their equipment when we were hitting our shots-very impressive. Even the head greens keeper was out checking practice greens and overseeing everything. Other reviews focus on the bunkers (condition-wise)but don't talk about how nice the fairways and greens really are and just how challenging this course can play.. Honestly, for the money this course can't be beat!

Tamarack is good course for all levels of golfers. Keep the ball in the fairway and you will be happy. Lots of water on most holes to keep you focused. Sand traps could use some new sand and grooming, many were not playable. Greens and tee boxes well kept. Dave in the Bar/Check in post is awesome. Very Friendly and helpful. Excellent value.

And we waited chart come out they said chart needs to be charged limit on char.

Sand traps definitely need some TLC, Poor condition, otherwise, course is in very nice condition, even tho greens were recently aerated

Tee boxes were tore up divots everywhere, needs a lot of attention.

Greens as well just only about half were in bad shape.

It did rain at the beginning of the round, but by the third hole it had stopped. The course handled the rain pretty well, drainage was efficient.

Course (mainly) the sand traps need a lot of love.

The tea boxes were all destroyed. The fairways were in good shape so were the greens. There were softball sized rocks in the bunkers.

All I can say is this course at one time was a nice course but now it’s just horrible!! Management has completely given up on basic maintenance
