About
Tamarack Golf Club is a course that will test your shot-making skills yet it is still player-friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. Pete Dye designed the course with tight, sculpted fairways and undulating greens that come in a range of sizes. The layout offers plenty of challenges with water or sand coming into play on every hole. The golf course will test your accuracy but it is not as difficult as many other Dye designs. The third is one of the toughest holes. A severely undulating green protected by deep bunkers makes placement vitally important on this par 3. The 15th is one of the back nine's more challenging holes. It presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity with a myriad of teeing options. Water lines the entire right side and the two-tiered green is flanked with bunkers to the front and right.

Good Price for Fun
If you play it a few times you can avoid the penalty shots.and shoot a good round.
If you cant find it for cheap skip
Bunkers were concrete .
Pace of play was so slow. So backed up they didnt even have carts available for my tee time.
In the middle of a subdivision, so not much they can do course layout wise.
Greens were okay, tee boxes were not.
Staff was great!
Terrible Pace of Play
Tamarack gets criticized all the time for the course conditions. But you can usually play at a good pace. Not this day. It took 4:30. Lots of waiting. And I've never seen a marshall at Tamarack.
Challenging course, especially from the back tees
Stay out of the bunkers, they need to be strained as they are filled with rocks in some cases - then add a fresh load of sand.
Horrible and unprofessional
I drove an hour to get there. The first thing Lady asked me do I wanna cancel because they’re short on carts asked for the Manager and she said she went to get them and never she never came back Sand traps are horrible. Conditions are horrible and they were pushing carts back all day cause they didn’t have enough to charge them. Close the course if you can’t take care of it and run it properly.
Storm
Wish I had a complete review of the course, but we were chased off the course by a fast moving violent storm, thunder and lightning. Fortunately, we made it back to the club house. Never heard a siren to evacuate or find shelter. Could be an opportunity!
Course poorly marked for yardage, no GPS in carts, and partners cart batteries gave out half way through round as did other carts. They ran out of carts for anyone teeing off after noon. Greens and tees boxes were in bad shape and bunkers would be better described as construction debris.
