About
Tamarack Golf Club is a course that will test your shot-making skills yet it is still player-friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. Pete Dye designed the course with tight, sculpted fairways and undulating greens that come in a range of sizes. The layout offers plenty of challenges with water or sand coming into play on every hole. The golf course will test your accuracy but it is not as difficult as many other Dye designs. The third is one of the toughest holes. A severely undulating green protected by deep bunkers makes placement vitally important on this par 3. The 15th is one of the back nine's more challenging holes. It presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity with a myriad of teeing options. Water lines the entire right side and the two-tiered green is flanked with bunkers to the front and right.

Tamarak
1:20 tee time for 2 got to course no carts are available they somehow ran out of golf carts ended up tee in up 20 minutes later. Greens were full of divots and all the bunkers were basically craters full of dirt no sand what so ever. I would say if your a decent golfer don't waste your time. The kids in the pro shop where friendly.
You get what you pay for.
If you can get on for $40 or less, pretty good deal. Would not pay more though. Carts were not clean. Had to swap one out for us on the 12 th hole cuz it ran out of juice. Bunkers still horrible. Overpriced food! Staff was very friendly and helpful though so I’ll play here again but only on a hot deal.
Traps
Sand traps were very bad, otherwise, course was excellent, excluding a few rude golfers that didn’t repair ball marks, I would suggest, if they don’t wanna take care of traps, fill em in, make grass bunkers, easier to take care of
Good Price for Fun
If you play it a few times you can avoid the penalty shots.and shoot a good round.
If you cant find it for cheap skip
Bunkers were concrete .
Pace of play was so slow. So backed up they didnt even have carts available for my tee time.
In the middle of a subdivision, so not much they can do course layout wise.
Greens were okay, tee boxes were not.
Staff was great!
Terrible Pace of Play
Tamarack gets criticized all the time for the course conditions. But you can usually play at a good pace. Not this day. It took 4:30. Lots of waiting. And I've never seen a marshall at Tamarack.
Challenging course, especially from the back tees
Stay out of the bunkers, they need to be strained as they are filled with rocks in some cases - then add a fresh load of sand.
