Tamarack Golf Club

Course is in really bad shape. Greens are severely affected by people not repairing ball marks. I fixed a couple per green, but would have taken me all day to fix all of them. Lots of ground under repair. Lots of standing water despite the fact we’ve barely had any rain. Bad drainage maybe. Fairways are absolutely torn with divots. And a few fairways were littered with range balls (they don’t have a range so not sure what that’s about). Bunkers are mostly mud. Not sure why the condition is so poor compared to other courses in the area.

On a positive note, the staff is ALWAYS super friendly, the round was quick, and the layout of the course is great. Value was still great at $39 (Tuesday morning).

Every sand traps full rocks unbelievable three years and they don't fix the sand traps how dare they charge 4050 bucks around for the worst taken care of of course in the Naperville area on the other hand plenty of teetimes open cause nobody goes

The course does not have enough carts to support the tee tee they are booking. We had to wait 30 min because they were waiting for golfers to finish to turn around the carts. The problem however is that they have electric carts that need to be charged. We saw all least 10 carts stranded on the course that had run out of power. Fortunately, our carts had enough charge to finish. But feel bad for others that had to walk last half of the course

Challenging layout with plenty of bunkers in striking distance. Water adds extra element to consider on several holes. Condition of course was subpar as tee boxes, traps, and greens have not been kept up. Could be an above average course with some work but average without.

I was really expecting this course to be more well kept, the traps were terrible (like concrete), the greens tore up (no one fixed any divots they made on their approach. For a Naperville course it is extremely disappointing to play at.

Played last week, course didn’t have scorecards. This week, there was a ~20-minute delay waiting for carts.

Course is constantly over booked and pace of play suffers routinely. Used to be one of my favorite courses in the area, but quality has gone down.

I think instead of the guy sitting in the clubhouse talking with the girl working the register, he should be working as a starter because there was none never saw Ranger I think guys jumped from one to 10 at the turn sand traps were horrific. You could at least spray and kill the weeds and grass growing in them. poorly run and manage course.

This course has so much potential. To the corporate owners of the course, please put the money into the course. These are some of the worst sand traps (if you could even call it sand) I have ever seen

Terrible pace of play… waited 20 minutes to tee off initially and at least 10 minutes on each hole. No golf carts available initially, then our cart died on hole two. Bunkers are basically mud or dirt, no water on course, missing half the ball washers. Last time playing here.

Zero stars. Arcis golf destroyed yet another course! Vampires of the golf industry. Course is in horrible shape! Clubhouse in shambles. Staff are like deer in headlights. Do the neighborhood a favor and light a match and burn the place down. 🤣

Every Arcis managed course is crap. Beware!!!

No starter, so we started 25 minutes late.

Limited amount of golf carts, (ours and the twosome ahead of us cart's died on the 12th hole). Sand traps were mostly rocks and dirt, very little if any sand. Weeds everywhere, trees had been fallen and were just left..Greens had recently been aerated and were very dry and sandy, tee boxes are not being taken care of (many old divets)...this was the worst condition course so far this year.

Great staff, great pricing, great pace of play and layout. We were able to play as a Twosome. Only problem was with the bunkers, no sand in most and some had rocks, rest of the course was in great shape!!!

Fairway bunkers were all washed out; basically rock or mud. Some of greenside bunkers the same, but some ok. Greens were in terrible shape; some aerated with huge holes with no dressing, and some with far too much sand. The greens not aerated were inconsistent as well; some burned out and some ok. Overall trying to determine pace for a putt was impossible due to insistent condition. Many trees were down and in various stsges of cleanup. Tee boxes come nowhere near the yardages on card; one set even nonexistent. Total crap.
