Bartlett Hills Golf Club
About
Bartlett Hills Golf Club has been a favorite Chicagoland golf destination since it first opened in 1929. To keep the layout up to modern standards, it has undergone many changes over the years but it still has the same classic character. At 6,463 yards from the back tees, this traditional layout might not be long but it still provides a fair test. Rather than distance, the golf course demands smart play and accurate shot placement thanks to narrow, tree-lined fairways and several tricky doglegs. You might not have many chances to use your driver but you'll definitely get some iron practice. There isn't too much trouble off of the tees at Bartlett Hills G.C. But greenside you'll be faced with nearly 30 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on seven holes, which include some forced carries.

My home course
live 3 minutes from this place. play here all the time. inexpensive and usually in decent shape. nothing special but still an enjoyable track. people are always friendly. unlike many places now-a-days, they actually let you hit off the grass on the range. food has gotten way better over the last couple years. pretty good now.
Great Course
Fairways and greens in very good condition for this time of year. Good pace of play, finished in 3.5hrs.
Solid
Kind of an underrated course. Good mix of easy and tough holes. Holes 8,9, & 12 will give a low handicapper all they can handle..Elevated greens make this course a challenge if your short/mid irons are not on point. Solid course, always in good shape, bunkers are just ok, not enough sand. Greens were in really good shape for the early season. Will definitely be back!
Fun and Challenging
Great setup. Not too long, but puts a premium emphasis on your shot selections and short game. Always have a blast playing here.
Fun and Challenging
This course will test all aspects of your game. Well laid out, in good condition, good pace of play...A real gem hidden away in the NW Burbs.
Course was good but ataff was not friendly
I don't wanted play again this course. No more play at the Bartlet golf course.
Bartlett Hills
Staff of Phil, Paulie, Mary, Paul and Colin are always accommodating.
Course is always in excellent shape. Thanks to Sup Kevin.
Fun at 19th hole a plenty!
Slow
Slowest round of golf I’ve ever played! No rangers around to keep people moving.
Great topography
A lot of elevation changes coupled with large
Oak trees makes for a beautiful course. Challenging
but fair as the course is not exceptionally long . On my radar to play again!!
One of my favorites
Always enjoy playing this course because it's challenging and in great shape. I only wish we could get a better deal here on Golfnow because we would play it more often if it was a little less expensive.
Bama Boy
Perfect weather day and course conditions were excellent with the exception of some bunkers because of recent rain. Pace of play was brutal . We finished in the dark after over five hours. Staff is always friendly. However, there are no rangers to move slow groups. We waited to hit on every hole.
Nice course in nice community
Playing at this course is always a pleasure. From playing with family; playing in a tournament; or practicing on the range, there is consistent friendly professionalism shown on this course. Before play you can retool at the pro shop or stop at the halfway house to get a drink or a energy snack. During play you can be refreshed with at the tee mobile service. Then, finishing, if you opted to participate in the $10,000 hole-in-one contest, you can be challenged on the 18th. Finish play with a nice meal at the club house.Your golf experience is better year-round at Bartlett Hiils.
Great fit.
The course is challenging yet fair and is very picturesque. It is in excellent condition and I enjoyed playing there.
