Great park district course
Wide open fairways , greens were tougher than expected. But overall, good value for an easy course.
Only bad thing was pace was a bit slow, but that could have been the timing- went around 430 pm- which is probably pretty busy especially with Covid
Playing from out of town
Played with daughter and son in law. Well organized and rules provided during COVID-19. Had a great experience and shot one of lowest rounds. Greens were in perfect condition. Pretty flat but enough changes in layout to make it interesting. Wide wide fairways. Which was good for me and my partners.
Don’t ever expect to play fast, even if you’re the first tee time
I booked the 5:20am tee time specifically to cruise and play a fast round; however, they decided to allow people to play 9 holes off the back nine (before 7am only: thus to only impact the golfers who more likely than not want to play swiftly). This isn’t a fancy course, so I understand wanting to permit more players....but they don’t allow the 9 hole people on the back nine to use carts so that potentially slows them (and thus those teeing it up very early for 18) even further.
This course on a normal weekend used to take 5+ hours, thus first tee time was all I was willing to try again. They managed to mess that up.
Worst experience ever
I purposely made my teatime for 5:20 AM so they could be the first one out and get through my brown quickly it took me about an hour and 15 minutes to play nine holes came around played 10 got to 11 and there was a group of walkers in front of me so I skipped the whole went to the next hole to find another group of walkers I didn’t have time so my brown was over at that point when I asked in the clubhouse they said it’s their policy to put walkers hour in front of the carts I will never show up there again. So I paid full price and only played 10 holes
Get Ready for a 5+ Hour Round
Staff doesnt care about pace-of-play. They cram as many tee slots as they can. If you play here, get ready for a 5+ hour round.
Worst Staff Ever
Booked for 2, brought my brother along to simply ride along with me. Since covid is going on, booking 2 people with carts means you get 2 carts. Staff wouldn't allow my brother to ride with me and wouldn't let us play if he came along. Extremely rude and unfriendly golf pro who was very eager to show his power. I'll never return to this course.
Great course for ALL skill levels.
Always enjoy this course. I would recommend being prepared with bug spray when you play here.
So slow
- group in front of us was so disrespectful and slow. Hitting multiple tee shots while we were waiting right behind them. Searching for balls they clearly would not find. Walking backwards to re hit multiple times per hole. No urgency or awareness or respect for anyone else playing. Course did nothing, not a single course employee asked for them to pick up pace or even noticed. Only ended up playing 11 holes in 3 hours. Pitiful. Should get a 50% refund.
Golfing on cor-vid 19
I didn’t give a all around 5 because 1 month with no play and I saw too much weeds and the rough wasn’t cut for a first Saturday on cor-vid19.
Awful experience
I used to go here bc of the location and it’s gotten unbearable over time. Tee times are hardly honored, and you can expect to be at least 20 min behind. The course is never in good condition, the greens are awful. Expect at least a 5 hour round.
I once saw a golfer with no shirt on at this facility. True story. Although that’s not the course’s fault, it goes to show the type of facility it is, and the type of golfer you can expect to be stuck behind....again. And again. And again...
Take the short drive away from the city and enjoy the rounds of golf you can actually find the time to play. Don’t go here.
Xmas golf in Chicago
Have never played golf in Chicago around Xmas, always too cold, snowy, icy. Was 60 degrees and was nice to have a course open for play.
Late Season Holiday Golf
Considering how late in the season it is in the Midwest Indian Boundary was in excellent shape. The greens were exceptional for a December afternoon. Some of the tee boxes were hurting a bit but that is not surprising at this time of year. There was some work being done on two of the fairways and as a result they were pretty torn up. Luckily they were in locations that did not effect our group. It is a blessing to be able to golf in Chicago December but it is even better to do so with a course in such good condition.

Not a great day....
The course was not in the best of shape. Being winter, I can let a few things slide. Unfortunately, today just seemed like they were open as a money grab. Multiple holes had drainage work being done, which left mounds of mud in dirt in the playing area. Also, a few holes had multiple pins cut into them. Like the greens keeper just forgot to replace one when cutting the next. I understand doing off season improvements and prepping the course for bad weather, but why not just close for the season. Instead, the 30 or so people out there were charged 30 bucks each to play a course that wasn't in 100% playing shape. Seems like a trend with the Forest Preserve courses. Take our money, but provide less than stellar experiences. Never again.

My kind of course
Indian Boundary is my kind of course. It is as wide as it is long! (well ... close). It is also a course which is divided into a front four, a middle five, and a back nine. (flooded holes had to be redone). Good course for seniors.

Go To Course
This is my foursomes go to course on Sunday morning. The staff are friendly and the course is generally in great shape. It can play slow the later you tee off, but if you get out by 9:30 you can play in 41/2 hours.or less. The course is pretty flat and mostly straight, making some holes good for the ego. However, there are a few that are intimidating from the tee box and/or the greens are quite a challenge. I would definitely recommend.

Favorite local course
We were able to get off on time. We were a twosome and invited a single behind us to join. The course is as always in good shape and no one behind us to rush us. Our regular Thursday morning match.
Thank you for playing Indian Boundary. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to seeing you again soon!
Indian Boundry Golf
Course was in alot better shape than a few years ago. I’ll buy the discount card next year, otherwise its a little expensive
Great Course!
It was raining heavily while my son and I were traveling to the course. Neither of us expected to play but we had a tee time. We waited for about 20 minutes and decided to go out. Rain had stopped and we were the only two on the course, pace was great. For the amount of rain that we had gotten, the course was in excellent playing condition. Great round of Golf!!!
Course is beautiful!!!
