This place sucks
If you want to play 7 holes in 2 hours and 45 minutes this is the place for you
Beware of Outings
The Rangers are non existent here. Came on a day where there was a golf outing. It took us over 3.5 hours to play the front 9. Many people gave up and bailed. Rather than place foursomes ahead of the golf outing groups to move things along, the Rangers did nothing despite being fully aware of the outing and the logjam it caused. Unacceptable and definitely not worth the price, even with the GolfNow discount.
The manager sucks
Went there on a beautiful day half the course was flooded and after the round the stater tells me to get a rain check. So I go to the pro shop to get my rain check and the manager named Scott says he won’t give me one because I booked it on GolfNow and i have to call GolfNow to have them refund me. So I try but on the app it says go to the pro shop so get my rain check and we don’t get anywhere besides him telling me good luck on that.
Always a problem
This place is usually a disaster. Played this course a number of times and most recently tee times were a full hour behind schedule. There is never a ranger to keep things moving. The course almost always has standing water on it even when there has not been rain. The beverage cart is often not running. Don’t play this course unless it’s dirt cheap and you are ok with many potential annoyances.
Fun Day
I’m from Mckinney Texas and I was in the Chicago area for work, first time in this friendly course and staff, I was lucky to the pairing with 3 of the nicest guy in the area, We end up playing 9 holes due the rain, but it was a really round of golf, hopefully next time in the area I’ll be playing again this course.
Nonsense
I understand the weather was horrible the prior days and course would be somewhat under water. Back nine was closed and walking only. Which was fine and yes my choice to play in the conditions, BUT TO STILL CHARGE FULL PRICE to play the front twice. Come on??? Charge the replay fee !

Go to Course in Chicago
This is my go to course in Chicago. I have been here 20+ times. It is a relativity easy course, mostly because it is a short course. It is a great value for Chicago and highly recommend going here.

Great Start to the Season
Had a great time playing Indian Boundary. The course is in great shape and I love golfing in the Forest Preserves.

wow lots of animals
I have never seen so much animal feces in my life.
We had deer ,dog, skunk ,rabbit ,coyote , and the normal goose.
It was all over the course I was never more then 2 feet from a pile or piles of something. It actually interfered with my ball a half dozen times.
Staff was unfriendly to me and other guests coming in to check in.
Fairways are tight, and worn .
Greens are about the size of a kids swimming pool.
Hi Jeff- we appreciate you playing Indian Boundary. Being located in the Forest Preserve, we do tend to have a lot of animal wildlife around the course. Playing in early April is a unique time for various reasons. The wildlife is not deep in the forest yet and they are still out on the course looking for vegetation to eat. In season, you do not see them as much. The feces issue is at the peak time right now because we have not started mowing the grass regularly. We'll be mowing this week and after a few mows that problem is corrected. Again, I appreciate you coming out and we'd love to see you back again soon.
Course was in decent condition considering all the rain that we had this past week. Tee boxes could use a little work, fairways and greens were in good shape. Needed a beer cart. Will definitely go back.
Decent Course for Price, But Way Too Busy
The course itself was very nice! It's a little short distance-wise but overall, I have no complaints with the round of golf itself.
The problem I had was the fact that there was a 3 group wait on every single hole. It took us 6 hours to play a round of golf here. 6 HOURS!!! I've never played a round that long in my life. I'm not sure if this was a product of a couple of slow groups or if the course let too many people on at a time, but a 6 hour round is unacceptable. Beware golfing here on a Saturday afternoon.
