About
Fox Run Golf Links opened in 1984 but over the past two years the course underwent a major renovation that made the layout both more challenging for serious players but also more forgiving for the recreational golfer. The multi-million-dollar renovation included enhancements to the hole layouts, redesigning the bunkers, installing a new irrigation system, and creating new practice and chipping areas. Water comes into play often throughout the golf course and you'll find elevation changes on nearly every green. The water holes will be especially tough if you have a tendency to slice the ball. Thanks to the varied layout, which includes some holes that are wide open and others that are more target-style golf, you will get the opportunity to work on different types of shots. Fox Run Golf Links is a challenging but fair test that players of all skill levels can enjoy.

Great course at decent price!
This course is well kept, with friendly staff. The greens are wicked fun. The course can be very forgiving with misses to the right but watch out for all the water out there!

Nice municipal course, good shape. Easy to get to from downtown Chicago. Enjoyed it.

New club house
Went out on a crappy weather day. Course was in really good shape. Staff was great about getting us a 9 hole rain check. The clubhouse is fantastic.

Good value course
Course was in good shape for early in the season. We only had to wait on a couple of holes but no major back ups. Greens were a bit slow but in decent shape. bunkers not great. All in all it is well priced for the experience. I would play again but it is not destination golf.

Since the weather was cold, there was only a few people were playing and I was able to finish the game within 2 1/2 hours.

Good end of season round
The pace was good,l @ 4 hours and the course was in decent shape considering the time of year. I like the new clubhouse but wish there was a bigger pro shop . Over all it was a good round
