Great Course, Great Value
This was my first time at Ravisloe and it exceeded my already high expectations (it has been named a top 10 Illinois public course in multiple publications). The fairways and greens were all in great shape. The carts are electric and have a very nice GPS system (though if you like, the course layout is great for walkers). Compared to other "top 10" courses the cost of the round was more than reasonable, and the place has a lot of history. Those alone make it worthy of a 5 star review, but what really sets Ravisloe apart is the staff. From the moment I arrived, every single person with whom I interacted was genuinely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

Enjoyable Round
Love this course, old school, southside. Some really beautiful holes. Good condition although the rough was a bit long which made it difficult to find balls and slowed the pace of play a bit. The rough definitely contributed to the difficulty of the course, small greens and had to hold out of the rough. Very fair, worth the drive from the Northside

Hidden gem
The crew here at Ravisloe has once again nursed this wonderful course into a recognizable Donald Ross track. The greens are slow but playable. The layout is walkable and enjoyable.
It’s a worth trip to experience it for yourself.

Love the layout and despite the lack of water hazards, challenging target golf and undulating greens make it a lot of fun. History for Chicago area to boot, would definitely play again.
