Ravisloe Country Club

I’ve played Ravisloe for many years. The staff is personal and attentive . The course is always in great condition. This Donald Ross course is wonderful to play. The whole ambiance is a country club feel at a public course setting.

Have wanted to play here for years. Finally was able to find a deal late season. Course is great.

We enjoy this course, no real complaints. Although the one thing that was really bothersome were the landscape crew. Seemingly every hole we approached they were blowing leaves, doing what they do, etc. But every hole it seemed like these dudes were following us, it seemed to be done on purpose. In face a couple times we are getting ready to hit a putt they'd fire up the blowers, I actually screamed at one guy to stop! Never had to deal with this crap before. If you want to be a upscale course have your ENTIRE staff behave accordingly.

Classic Donald Ross design. Back to front sloped greens, mounds abound along with the deep bunkers. So much fun to play. Very walkable. Best public course in the Chicago area.

It started with booking online with a cart only to find out when I got there that no carts we allowed. Then the range is closed. The starter is looking for us 15 mins before our tee time telling us we are on the tee. The whole course was a marshy swamp. Some holes were under water. We paid $55 to walk and with the condition of the course it wasn’t worth $25.

Quick pace of play. Fairly simple layout but bunkers keep you on your toes. Course was in fantastic condition.

Great course nice lay out. Staff was super friendly practice area was a little close to the fairway on 9. Kitchen closed before 5:30 when I finished my round which was disappointing. Carts are nice have a touchscreen gps and Bluetooth for music or listen to the bears game. Will come back

Excellent value. Would definitely play again. Greens had just been punched

We purchased a Rossy Pass in the spring and were able to play 10 rounds (although I did play an additional 3-4) over the summer and this month.

A gem of a course in great shape, outstanding staff and amenities too.. Course is a slow play on busy Fridays and Weekends, but 3.5 hours walking on Mon-Wed. Cannot say enough good things about this facility and staff!

Very pretty course. Fairways were absolutely immaculate. Greens could use some work but still rolled well.

Cannot get over the staff though, asked if it was my first time then gave me some pointers and tips. Checked in multiple times to see how the round was going. Ranger came out on 16 when the rain was coming down and thanked us for putting up with the weather (like it was their fault). Awesome staff. Very nice course. Hole in 1 challenge is cool too. Came up 5 feet short
