Great first impressions
First time out at Ravisloe and I have to say that initially the front 9 was just ok in my opinion. What really got me was the back 9 as the true beauty of the course came into focus. Overall the design and age are enjoyable and I would say its a great course for the money that is not overly challenging, yet still makes you pick your lines.

Good architecture and course. Needs some weed killer
Worth the lengthy drive. Really like the course, property and staff. Back nine stronger than the front. Conditions have room to improve; crabgrass is taking over some tees.

Classic and Fair
I have played this course about 4-5 times this summer. Always enjoyable and challenging. Staff is TREMENDOUS. They make the difference. Come golf and have lunch. You will NOT be disappointed!

Ravisloe County Club
What a wonderful track! It was my first opportunity to play Ravisloe and right off the bat, I had a nice conversation with Kevin Stoffel (head club professional) prior to the start of our round and again afterwards and was happy to be able to convey our overall satisfaction with this course. The Donald Ross designed track was in very nice condition and challenging but not overwhelming for mid-level handicappers. Also, the trappings of the 19th was pleasurable and the staff was courteous and friendly. I highly recommend this course and can’t wait to get back again!

A gem Donald Ross track
Played here Friday early morning and the course was perfect. Not a lot of ball marks and divots. Greens were good and receptive, but could be faster. Rough was thick and made advancing the ball difficult. Fairways are pretty wide and will roll forever.
Overall, a great track. The staff has done a great job getting this place back to a playable and challenging level.
