great layout, all the bells and whistles. 100% I will play this course again.

Really good track. You can tell it used to be a premiere country club. Worth the money even on a weekend. Good course to walk if you like that.

The course is an absolute gem and in great shape. I have played it numerous times this year.

This time around I went to go play 18 by myself with a cart. The first tee was jammed, so I figured I would start on the back 9 which happened to be wide open.

The ranger sent me over to the starter who greeted me with "these 3 guys on the 1st tee don't want to play with you, but I am going to make them!"

I told him that I would rather play by myself, starting on 10 which was wide open. He wouldn't have it.

He proceeded to raise his voice at me, " NO NO NO!!! I WONT LET YOU BOGART THE COURSE!"

Is this dude really serious?

To avoid making a bigger scene, I just decided to go off with the 3 older gentleman on 1.

We had a fine time, but by the time 11 came around they were too tired to go any further, so they all called it and headed for the parking lot.

I had the course to myself and with around 5 holes left to play, came upon a foursome of women.

The ranger happened to be there by them, and when he drove my way I asked him if it was busy passed the foursome, wondering if I could ask them to play through on the next hole.

He proceeded to tell me it was completely jammed up and I would just have to wait.

So I did.

A hole goes by and the kind women ask me if I wanted to play through, which I of course jumped at.

After them the course was wide open.

What is the point of having a ranger if he is just going to ride about, doing nothing to help the pace of play?

The starter and the ranger are both a couple of yahoos who should stay off the payroll.

Got call day before that no golf carts only hand carts..Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Surprisingly bad tee boxes. Not just the par 3's. All were a patchy mess. Rest of the course was great as usual. Please fix ball marks, even if you didn't make them.

I believe that this at one time was a country club in the early 1900's. The club house and buildings have a great classic feel

The course was in great shape. Very green. Fairways and greens both excellent.

Lot's of old growth 100 year old trees to get in the way of your recovery shots. Lots of small bunkers to avoid.

The course is narrow and challenging. This course requires you to hit your drives straight with little forgiveness for error.

The staff is very friendly from the pro staff to the course rangers.

If i were to nit-pick, the driving range is not fantastic, but who the h cares. $5 per small bucket is worth it for me to get warmed up.

Bottom line, great value for the money.

As always, the course was in great shape. I played later in the day, 3.10pm. Played front in just under 2 hours. The back nine dragged on. 2 hours 45 minutes. Lots of twosomes that could have been blended together......
