Ravisloe Country Club

This is one of my favorite public courses in Chicagoland. And at $75 green fee including Carr, one of the better values in the area post COVID. Great practice facilities as well.

Great memories of a traditional course layout. Fairways are fair, moderately challenging. Greens in good condition. Overall a fun round with old friends.

This course is not worth $125. Traps are awful, no path, greens are just okay. I like the layout. It should be $80/90 tops here.

Nice course with good pace of play. Cart service on the course along with good halfway house. If you stick around for some food afterwards, I recommend the BLT. Great service from start to finish.

Course was in great condition and offered plenty of challenges. This was my first time playing the course and I will definitely play it again. Staff was great in offering advice on some of the challenges of course and how to overcome them, prior to teeing off.

Great course. Greens are a bit too crazy but still a great track.

The front nine was especially challenging. There were some Sunday pins that really made ball position important. Greens were rolling fast. Course was in great shape.

Played here back in the 70’s as a young caddie and it still as beautiful now as it was then. Super friendly staff. Good value for the money.

Teeing it up again next week. Will be here many more times this summer.

I am one in a group of four guys that have been playing this course every Wednesday for about eight years now. There is a reason we play every Wednesday. The staff is great, the course is fantastic. Was a private course for about 100 years, Donald Ross design, and it shows. Not too long, but not too short. Walkable if you want. A great experience.
