Ravisloe Country Club

Nice little course that's unique and challenging. Good variety in the layout and is well-maintained. We had a 6:30am tee time for 2 and the other 2 that were paired with us were late. We were ready to tee off and they weren't yet at the tee box at our start time. The first hole was wide open and we could have gone off several minutes early, but the starter made us wait for the other 2 players rather than let us go, which makes no sense whatsoever. We offer to let them play with us if they caught up, but instead of letting us begin, we waited until after our designated start time, then he had them come meet us after we began play, so it just added 90 minutes to our round for no reason. He needs a lesson in course management, but it's a good place overall and we'll be back... hopefully with a different starter.

Been waiting to play here for years and I am glad I finally did. It did not disappoint. $85+ a little spendy for 3:00pm. I will be back though. Staff was excellent. GPS carts.

Great experience. Absolutely love the old school nature of course routing and design. Great staff, practice facilities, and pro shop/restaurant. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

usually I only write reviews when there is/are problems that I want to warn future golfers about. but I was so impressed with the sand traps at Ravisloe that I wanted to go in print……they were the best of any course that we’ve played this year. now the half empty glass person in me needs to come out: we got behind a foursome that would have turned the round into 4.5 hours or worse. we made a quick/strategic move while they were eating hotdogs at the turn; we were able to finish in less than 4 hours. My problem: where have all the rangers been this year ?

Had several groups out on a Friday, course was in great shape given how wet we’ve been. Will be back

The only way I would give Ravisloe a bad rating to to keep people away from this hidden gem. I love this course and wish it made our rotation a bit more often. Just a treat to play and a fair game for any level of player. You enjoy this course as much if you are a 5 handicap as you would with a 25.

One of the best courses in the state. It’s challenging and fun.
