Ravisloe Country Club

Making my rounds around the southwest suburbs and I found this beautiful course. This is a classic country club layout with challenging holes and excellent course conditions. Best bunkers in town and even with all of the rain....My hats off to the greens keeper. Guys up front were super friendly and overall this was an outstanding morning. Keep it up! I'll definitely be back!

I had really high hopes going into this round and overall, I was really impressed with my first trip here and to a Ross. It poured the day before, which led to a phone call from staff saying carts wouldn’t be allowed. Very glad this happened as I don’t have a carry bag, but they do have push carts.

As for the course, standing water was all over. Not their fault. Nor were the extra squishy greens. Staff may have taken this into account as some pins were tucked. I really enjoyed the design, but based on prior readings, the greens have shrank over the years and trees have been added that provide nothing.

I’d definitely recommend this course to others and honestly can’t wait to visit again, hopefully when it’s drier.

Enjoyed the layout & design of each hole. Well maintained course made for a fun afternoon. We are looking forward to going back to play again soon!

I loved this course ... it was on the shorter side, but it really made you think about where to miss, where to leave approach shots (above or below the hole, etc.) Had to hit both draws and fades off the tee. A couple good birdie opportunities. Highly recommend!

Greens were slow, but otherwise the course is in very good condition. Awesome pace of play.

Simply put one of the best fun old schoolers you can play in Chicagoland. A gem and we're lucky to have access to it. It was busy...pace was never an issue....played in well under 4 hours mid afternoon! Conditioning was very good except the greens - a little slower and bumpy than I've experienced over the past few years. Other than than everything was great. 1/4 star downgrade on the greens and I'm dinging them another 1/4 star because none of their on course domestic beer selections (budweiser products mainly) is my wheelhouse and their on course import list seems to lack creativity as well. $52 senior rate is very fair and decent value for the quality of the course and facilities. Highly recommended.

Donald Ross course that’s accessible to the public? Yes here. Great layout. Course in really good shape in spite of the recent dry weather. Great value for the money.

Your hot deal did not include carts. The rate you gave me was more than what they charge. Not very happy with golf now!

This course has been on my list to play for a while! Its a must play 1 time course for the price. I think it is a bit much for the course. Although I went on Sunday when it costs more. 89.00. I had a great time and the pace of play was great considering everyone is just about foursomes. The only thing I didnt care for is pairing up players walkers sre with carts. It wasn't as bad as i thought it would be but walkers should be with walkers and csrts with carts. I was lucky enough to be paired with a fun 2 some but with the covid issue I prefer to play with the party I came with. Its a country club so I understand some things are different than regular courses. Overall great expierence!
