Overall Good - Dlow Greens Though
Started out really slow as there were a couple of slow foursomes ahead of us. The ranger did a great job working with us. In the end everything worked out as the slow groups stopped playing.
Greens were really slow. Course was in great shape overall.

Little slice of heaven
Course was in great shape from the start of the fairway to the green and everything between. Only complaint was the tee boxes were just destroyed, being the end of the year it's forgivable. If you order a hotdog after nine holes, make sure its cooked before you tee off on ten. Definitely will play it again.

Ravisloe is a nice track but the tee boxes were really beat up!

Classic Chicago Country Club at an affordable rate
My friend and I decided to play Ravisloe CC for the first time this week after hearing good things from friends. The experience exceeded our expectations. From the course staff (everyone was first class and extremely friendly) to the conditioning of the golf course, everything was first class.
Personally, I have played several Donald Ross designed courses and this course is as vintage Ross as it gets. Turtleback, small, sloping greens, treacherous strategic bunkering (sometimes 8,10+ feet or more below the green surface). This course will make you think and plot your way around if you want to score well. The fairways were immaculate, greens in great shape (little on the slow side but understandable with all the play and rain as of late).
For the money, you will be hard pressed to find a better value and experience in the Chicagoland area.
If you are looking for a private club experience at an affordable price, look no further than Ravisloe CC.

Challenging course needs some TLC
Ravisloe is a wonderful layout that allows you to play most every club in your bag. The greens are well bunkered and a real challenge with many breaks and difficult pin placements (the day I played). The fairways are in good condition overall but some of the aprons around the greens need to be resodded. Same goes for a number of the tee boxes on the back nine thst are being taken over with weedy turf. The practice areas are well maintained and it’s particularly nice to have a short game practice area. Overall I like the course and will continue to play there a free times a season.

Great round at Ravisloe
Great Round- guys in the shop are super friendly- course is in very good condition (only complaint is tee boxes are a bit beat up which is normal this time of year for public courses but also a ton of weeds on them) other than that fairways are in great shape and greens roll very true. Love how every green has a center ridge which makes for very challenging putts. Will be back for sure

I seen that this course is regularly $100 on weekends, figured I was getting a good deal for $59, definitely wouldn’t play it again for $100 let alone traveling over an hour, much nicer courses closer to home for less money but I like trying new courses, but no way a $100 course
