I had a father's dsy reservation at 6:40 am. I thought this would be early enough to avoid the yahoos. Wrong. Pace of play at 25 minutes a hole, and the foursome behind us BLARING METALLICA on every tee box. Most over priced course in the Chicago area . Embarrassing for the money they charge . Tee boxes were in awful shape . Fairways not the best either . Greens very slow . Staff very friendly though . Fun easy course to play but not worth the money by any means .

The course was complete booked likely over booked. A good day for the course but not a very enjoyable experience for golfers. They didn't seem to have anyone to keep players on pace after nine so people were stopped for food drinks and not letting groups behind them play through. When we got to the turn there were four groups waiting to tee off.

Two words, goat farm. Tee boxes and fairways are more like rough. Looks like the course hasn't been cut in a week. Slowest greens I've played all year. If I had to guess, stimped at 6 or 7. Absolute garbage for $40 for twilight. Save your money and go elsewhere. Inconsiderate players littering cigars, in tee shirts and jorts taking 7 shots to reach the green. No beverage cart. Joke course.

OOCC was in worse condition than any course I have ever played. In order, No starter, tee boxes were a mess without being to find level ground and without a thousand divots. The rough was long, uneven and full of weeds. The greens were not kept up. The first green was full of leaves, goose droppings and ball marks as were most. The traps were not raked, like to start the day. In fact I said to my foursome it is though they did nothing to the course since it opened. I would rather play in General Iron's scrap pit!!!! I will never, ever play their again. For sure!!! We paid $50 but that was $100 too much.

I’ve played this course several times and each time it gets worse.

The pace is slow, the tee boxes are full of weeds and divots, the cart paths are a mess, the greens have longer grass than the fairways, and the price is outrageous. Very disappointed in Old Orchard and will definitely not be coming back.

First and last time playing here. Tee boxes are horrible, impossible to find level footing. Fairways are like light rough, rough is 4 inches deep. Layout is very narrow and in places unfair . Greens are tiny but in good shape.

Old Orchard is a park like course with narrow fairways, small greens and strategic water features. The fairways are creeping bent with thick bluegrass rough. The course was in the best condition of all courses I've played this year. The greens were in exceptionally good condition. A challenging sporty course.

Did not like some holes not allowing carts to drive on. The fairways looked great and did not need to be closed to carts!

I booked the tee time on Golfnow. The morning forecast was rain and 55 degrees. I cancelled with golfnow expecting to get a refund. They notified me no refund on “hot deals”. I called the course to see what they could do. The pro says the can’t refund the money because they don’t get any money from Golfnow for “hot deal” reservations. They trade tee times for marketing and promotion.. So actually they do get paid in the form of a barter. He also says we still have a valid reservation in their system. Since it looks like if might clear up, we head over to the course but by the time we get there it’s raining and supposed to continue for a few hours. We go into the pro shop and ask for a raincheck. They explain again that they don’t get anything for “hot deals” (they actually do via barter). They won’t give us a raincheck but say we are welcome to play as much as we want in the rain. What a joke!

Fun course , good staff , but should be a $65 round instead of $85

Good course, would definitely play again. Understanding pace is slower due to current environment, today had a lot to do with one was in front of us. Very slow round due to groups ahead. Our tee time was midday…1pm. Nice staff/course. Come here when you have nowhere to be after.

Fairways and tee boxes are in rough shape. Not worth $85 a person.
