Love :Course, but Lost Club-Not Returned
I thought this course was great, but I was in the first group and left my GW on the 18th green. It was never returned. I understand this is my fault. 100%, however, a single woman played behind us who was hitting three balls. I don’t really care about that, but I am curious if she found my club, or anyone else afterwards, and did not return it. This is not the Old Orchards fault, but this happened here, so I’m complaining here: Come one y’all, this is public course etiquette. Just be cool and return the club.
Incredible Staff
I just wanted to mention the staff at this place. Top notch. A++++. Seriously. They are very nice. I just appreciated them on the course today. Thanks!!!
plays long
fairways are cut a little long. No tight lies. Hence not much roll. Greens are a average as far as speed. Could be faster.
Old orchard cc
Played 18 on Monday because it was a hot deal. It was good for price provided and the pro shop staff was very good. The course had spongy tee boxes from recent rain but aside from that the grounds were well maintained. Overall a good day.
Good but too many people
Only 5 min in between groups. They pack em in. Too much time waiting. Pace of play was brutal.
Beautiful course, brutal pace
While everything else was great, the pace of play for a Thursday afternoon was absolutely brutal with a 5-6 group backup at the turn and ranger nowhere to be found. I’d highly recommend the course itself, but 5+ hours for a Thursday afternoon round is brutal.
Very solid course. A little bit slow pace sometimes, typical Chicago suburbs course. Good conditions, well kept.
