Horrible staff
I didn’t even want to give one star because of this one staff that totally ruined our day. The three-some - it was me and two of my friends - finished 18 holes within about 4 hours and 15 minutes. However, that one staff continued to follow us and give pressure to us, which led all three of us to score the worst ever. What's even worse has not been mentioned yet. He ridiculously started swearing when we asked him to leave us alone. We still cannot believe what had happened happened that day. How does a staff member swear at customers no matter what the situation is?! Was he comfortable doing that because we were asians? I hope not. We do not know his name, but we were there June 28th Sunday at 6am, and there were only 2 staffs working - a young female staff and that guy. This place is horrible for having a staff like him to work without a problem. Don’t expect to enjoy your games at this place!

Disappointed.
I have only played this course two times. First time I played was a little over a month ago and I had a great time and thought I had found a hidden gem. I played today and the course was in really bad shape, I have no idea what they did to go from a course in great shape to awful in 5 weeks. The fairways were awful wet and soggy which of course led to a lot of frustrating pitch and chip shots, club would slide right under the ball. Tee boxes were in bad shape, greens were filled with divot marks. A lot of holes are way to close together I almost got hit twice. Also no signs to let you know where the next hole was.. I will definitely not be venturing out to this course again.

One of the top public courses in Illinois
This course has it all. No two holes alike. Elevation changes. Easy holes, moderate holes, hard holes. Good conditioning. Not too tough of a walk. Great staff. Worth every penny.

Hilly, hidden gem
First time playing this course and I will be back-hilly, tree lined but playable. Plenty of challenge, but if you're hitting it straight you can definitely score. Not the easiest course if you do not know the layout, but now that I do I will definitely return.

This course is awesome
Course was in excellent conditions . Challenging holes for all levels. Glad we had a tour guide playing with us to help us with the holes . Great staff . Can’t wait to go back

Well done
Other than the booking problem they had with GolfNow them booking multiple tee times for the same. The pro and starter made it work. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. During this covid period staff was prepared with precautions in play. Separate cards. Course was in fine condition. Greens rolled true although a bit slower than normal but probably was dictated by the enormous amount of rain in May. Always a fun track to play. Good mixture of tough and scoring holes. Trees have grown a bit over the years creating some challenging tee shots. Didn’t realize how much I missed the course. Will be back again soon.

For all the rain we got the course is in great shape.. 18 holes just over 3 hours walking (not in a straight line)

Good course to play
After several inches of rain yesterday on top of the rain the prior week, the course was wet but playable. The greens were in very good shape. Staff at Prairie was very friendly from the onset and made sure my golf buddy and I had what we needed during the round. Overall, an excellent experience.

Great course!
Really beautiful course in Mundeline, felt like I was up north Wisconsin. Pace of play was great, fairways and greens excellent. Loved the layout and also this course has elevated tees on every whole which I love. Will be back again for sure.
