Beautiful course
Always love to play this course, especially following a lot of rainfall where course drains much better than most courses in Fox River Valley area, and is always maintained much better than most others in price range. I am 60, and only get to play about once a week during golf season, and love the silver tee boxes at Prairie Isle for the length I hit now. I actually get to use wedges on approach shots on a few of the holes out here. The natural beauty of the course with mature trees and undulating fairways, as well as condition of greens and bunkers makes it one of the best values for the money in the North and Northwest suburbs.

Played here in Amateur Golf Tour. Course was challenging and in great shape. Person ( older man ) behind counter was a big &@*#... Very rude. Wouldn’t play here again for the travel because of it. I’m sure this it not the only complaint on this guy. Here’s a reality check Prairie Isle owners — if staff treat customers like that, there is at least 5-10 other courses in 10 mile radius of your place that customers can go to .... and then you’re done. Fix it!

Hidden Gem!!
I've lived in the area for 10 years and heard mixed reviews about Prairie Isle. Let me tell you my experience at the course was excellent. I'm a 7 handicap and have played most courses in the northern suburbs. The Isle really stands out. Great bent grass fairways, consistent rolling greens, and challenging course layout. I was able to walk the course in under 4 hours and was greeted by a friendly staff. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.

Great but not easy
Course is in great shape with a variety of different and challenging holes. Also a great price off golfnow. We take the 45 minute drive to enjoy this great layout

Nice layout and well maintained course.
Nice mix of testing holes. I drive 45 minutes to play and consider that a trip well taken. Highly recommend this course and I will be back...

Hidden Gem
I love this course.It has a great variety of holes,a mix of parkland and carolina styles.The back nine is very hilly in spots with a few blind tee shots.Course conditions are always excellent.A small complaint is that the golf carts and cart paths need an upgrade.The course doesn't really advertise much so use golf now for tee times.Unless you hit it straight,bring two sleeves.
