Tough Course but well kept and managed
Tough course! Great staff at this course. Al who checks you in and is also the starter does a great job of keeping things rolling. He not only checks you in but makes sure you get off the tee on time and also if you need a beer or something he is right there. Course is in great shape. Greens are a little rough in some spots but compared to other courses this is just normal. Management is strict on rules and that's ok because it keeps the course and clubhouse in great shape.

First time out, had to wait for a cart since a league went out earlier than us. Course was in good shape, Great value $15.00 for 9 holes with cart. Really can’t go wrong for that price
TeeOff rules?
Our threesome arrived before 1030 for our 11am tee time. When I checked in at the pro shop, the man said we 1) Had to wait until 11 even though there was no one around 2) I would have to ride with a fourth player. I said I would walk even though I had paid for a cart. We discussed it further and he said those were in the TeeOff agreement- no deviation from the time and cart sharing with strangers was required. Around 1045, he said the three of us could go without the fourth. I walked rather than revisit the cart issue even though it was in the 90s. We won’t be going back.
Great Course & Affordable
This course is a lot cheaper than other courses around Chicagoland. It only costs $15 per person for 9 holes and a cart. Friendly staff, too. Will play again.
Tee boxes in bad shape
I play this course often, and yesterday I asked myself, why? The tee boxes are in terrible shape,; uneven chewed up, bumpy. The staff is really nice, but, despite a posted dress code they let some guy on the course in a sleeveless ratty tee shirt.
bad decision making by course employee
I am a local resident and it was threating rain all day but I figured I would try and squeeze in 9 in the afternoon. I was going to head out and play but decided to use tee off and save $5.00 to play with a cart in case it rained hard. I got there over an hour early and nobody was on the 1st tee and only two groups went off during the 1 hour the guy made me wait. Again no reason he couldn't let me go out with nobody on the course but chose to say, sorry its the rules. The greens were so slow you would have trouble even getting the ball to the hole. I could live with that, but making me wait 70 minutes for no reason is not acceptable. I offered to walk in case it was the use of a single cart by myself was the issue, nope made me wait. It may be the closest course to my home, but it's never going to be on my list of places to play again.
