About
Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton offers 27 holes of championship golf. The entire course features water on 17 holes and 77 strategically placed bunkers. The course is divided into three nine-hole courses that can be played in different 18-hole combinations. The club opened in 1927 but two of the golf courses, South and East, were renovated in 2011, followed by the West nine a year after. The golf courses are all equally challenging but they each have a unique character. The West/East Course starts with the shortest nine but it also has one of the most intimidating water holes, the par-3 seventh, which has a green that is almost entirely surrounded by water. With such a challenging variety of courses, it is not hard to imagine why Arrowhead G.C. is considered one of the best municipal golf courses in the Chicago area.

One of the best
One of the best courses in Illinois… shot makers course for sure, and the staff, including restaurant and bar are always amazing. Highly recommend!
Arrowhead East and West - Great late season shape
This was our third time this year playing Arrowhead and the first time playing the West course (usually it's South and East). All three nines are great and we had a great time. One of our favorite courses to play and always in our rotation each year.

Very nice layout and course in great condition. Greens fast and some tough pin placements.
Really nice golf course. Pace of play was 4:15. Look forward to playing again.

Beautiful course
Such a well maintained course with absolutely stunning views. So well kept that the fairways blend into the greens almost seamlessly. Great great value for the price. Can’t wait to go back! This will become one of the regular courses I visit throughout the year.
Perfect golf
Staff was great, course was in fantastic conditions. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in amazing shape. Unlike most public courses in the area with greens beat from ball marks not being repaired, Arrowhead's greens were in private club condition: smooth and true, perfect speed and more importantly no ball marks to dodge - truly kudos to the grounds crew and apparently the local members who are proud of their course and take care of it. Best condition I played all summer in over 30 rounds
