Good course with golf now hot deal. Lots of courses in the area. This is one of the better ones
Backed up a little but starter was nice, course was good, people were friendly. I’d play again.
Fun course with great conditions
The overall conditions of the course were very good, bunkers and greens were exceptional. The layout was enjoyable and more challenging on the back nine. The greens were relatively flat but ran true and quick.
Delay
Had 1 hour delay because of frost and failed to contact me
Best course in the South Bend area
We travel up to ND games every few years and have played a few other courses. This one is so much fun! I highly recommend it. It was a little more expensive than usual, but It was still worth it. Great layout and so many fun holes. Amazing condition.
Blackthorn
Love the course. Greens were treated for winter making putting more difficult and the ball wouldn't stick. Overall, this is the best course in the area for the money. Have to play here more often.
ND Pregame
Fit in 18 before an ND football game. Great layout, immaculate course and great fun to play. Highly recommend to anyone. Greens are fast and tight.

Best course in south bend, was in great condition for late September
Blackthorn still good
Had a 4 some on a Thursday in September, 2 days before ND home game. Rates good-$69, pace good, and in spite of overall dry conditions, course in good shape. Have not played here in 7-8 years.
Only lack-1person at check-in pro shop, 1at grill, one cleaning carts. They used to have personalized service, someone to schlep your bags from drop area down quite a few steps to load on cart. We’re all young(68 yo) but some players likely find steps treacherous.
Also, when was the last time they used the “ Blarney hole” prior to #1? Only was open 1 time over 10-12 years, but was a unique attraction about Blackthorn

Love the course
Great course. Great staff. Courteous and friendly.
Great Layout
Super fun course with multiple tee boxes. Fairway Greens and tee boxes were in excellent condition.
Beautiful layout with great conditions.
Course is scenic, clean, and maintained very well. Starter was on top of things and had the foursomes moving without delays. Greens are very hard to putt and approach shots do not hold the green. Makes is tough to score. However, a very challenging course with a great test of golfing ability.

Enjoyed the play. Range pitching and putting green were great. Food and drinks good.
Would like to ask that access to and from the parking lot be a little easier.
