good outing
Conditions are fine. Weather was warm, the course conditions were good. Some browned areas in the fairway, but tees and greens were very good.
pace of play was good.
overall a good day. Will definitely be back.
Purse is really coming into its own!
Over the past couple of seasons, Valley of the Moon (and Sugarloaf) have really made strides to improve course conditions, and it really shows!
Course is in good condition. Except bunkers, many were unplayable and not filled with sand. Had my first hole in one so it was a good day!
Overall good shape
The greens were good, tee boxes in good shape and the fairways were plush. The ONLY negative is that the rough is too long for public play. We had a number of balls that were a couple feet off of the fairway and took a long time to find. I know, hit the fairway.....but if we had played during prime time, it probably would have taken close to 6 hours with everyone looking for balls. That said, a couple balls stayed in bounds that would have bounced out. As usual, everyone that works there was awesome and it was a great time.

Needs time to dry out
This course needs time to dry out. There isn’t much firm ground right now and I lost a few good drives that plugged and I couldn’t find. The fairways haven’t been mowed recently because its do wet. The greens are surprisingly in good shape, but I’m gonna wait until the rain season ends before I play again.

I was very disappointed,
I was very disappointed, the greens were punched and sanded. No warning when I made the reservation.
Perturbed
Had a great day golfing today. The only thing that bothered me was that there was a group of 5 golfers ahead of me and they were taking too long on the hole ahead of me and not being considerate of the other golfers in my group.

Thank you for your review. Contrary to the other comment on this review, I care very much whether 5 somes are allowed to greatly slow down play. Slow play is main problem in golf. I don't want to play at a course that allows 5 somes or a course where the attitude is that of the prior person who commented
Nobody cares about the considerations of players towards you... Sheesh!
What we do care about is the turf conditions of the course being reviewed.
