Valley of the Moon is very nice
Course was in good condition, Pace of play , very good staff!
Course has a lot of grass and a lot of leaves. Hard to find ball, but great value. Few players. Played 18 in 3.5 hours. I will go back.

Everything nice, pace of play was good until the 14th hole. Staff always very nice.
Great Round At Valley Of The Moon
Valley Of The Moon is a beautiful course with great views of the surrounding mountains. It was a perfect day even though a recent rainfall left the course a bit damp. Greens are very well kept as were the sand traps. The gentleman who checked me in was very welcoming. I will definitely return to Valley Of The Moon golf club on my next visit to beautiful Napa.

Great layout, challenging and rewarding. Worth the hour drive for sure.
Please-consider using a course Marshall at the weekends
Valley of the Moon is in good shape as a course currently, greens are very good, fairways are good and most Tees are on good shape with a few seeing s little west. I’ve just finished playing at the 12th hole because my patience in waiting to play every single shot from the third hole was ruining my game and my enjoyment. The challenge was teen through about 5 groups of players all stacked up across 6 holes in front of me. These things happen, I understand, but given the course is providing a refreshments cart to constantly circle the course it would have been nice to see one of the pro shop assistants out quickly touring the course. There’s some easy fixes- for the broader good of all players caught up in this.
Please consider a Marshall or just some occasional tours of the course at the weekend, you have a great course, playing well, please help maximize everyone’s enjoyment?

Great course, amazing value, conditions were perfect and greens were lightening fast! I’ll be back!

Have to hit many different shots. greens were very challenging.
A Course with too many Trees
This course has too many trees that narrow the fairways. There is a tree in the middle of the fairway on a few holes. Greens and bunkers are nice but there are many brown areas on the fairways. Some tricky water hazards make the course challenging.
If you live far away such as San Francisco, the commute is terrible. You only want to play here if you nearby.
Nevertheless, the value is good.

Some brown spots around the fairways, but overall, the course is in pretty good shape considering we are in a drought.
