The Bay Club - West Course

Was my first time on this course and I was disapointed. I guess for the money was not bad but the course was not in good shape. Tee boxes were terible, no sand in traps( rock hard) fairways had dead grass everywere. Not very impressed

The course it fairly straightforward in ease of play. Fairways are in good shape and rough is not a factor. Bunkers are kept nice and sand is in good shape. Played Saturday afternoon and was never held up mainly because of lack of players on course.
18 hole round timed out at 2.5 hrs. Tree lined fairways throughout but are wide enough for driver.

This was the first time I've played bay club. They surely won a returning customer here !!!! On a 10scale I would give it an 10. The maintenance of the course was top notch , the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful inside and outside the facilities. The food was excellent. Bay Club has it all.

I've played this course a few times while vacationing in the Ocean City area, and it's usually on my list of courses to play because the price is reasonable and the layout is good. You don't have a lot of room off the tee, and there are two island greens and number 9 & 18 (par 5s) require a third shot over water to narrow but wide greens. The fairways and greens were nice, but some of the tee boxes were pretty poor for a course of this caliber.

Enjoyed the round, course not crowded, played front nine alone, joined a twosome on the back. Staff very friendly. Overall, course was in good shape. Bunkers had little to no sand, some tee boxes in bad shape.

The course was in very good condition; the greens were excellent; the fairways were wide and also in good shape. Some of the tee boxes were stressed by the weather and some of the grass areas were brown at the tees. I would recommend this course for both locals and for visitors on vacation. I highly recommend this course and plan to play it again soon.

Overall the course was in good shape after about an inch of rain 30 hours before I played. The fairways and greens had some moisture but were not wet, wet. However a couple of bunkers had a little standing water in them, only 1/2 inch, but the rest were damp and not raked when I played at about noon. Otherwise the layout is great and the price was less than you would expect to pay for a course this nice..

Course is excellent value for the money. Juniors play free after 2 pm everyday. Great for a father and son pairing.

I enjoy this course. It is not a linx course. So the trees make for a challenge for beginning players. The course is beautiful and well groomed. The staff is Courteous and prompt. I recommend this course to any one. Especially at the value.

Sandtraps were hard as cement....kinda ruined an otherwise nice day.

The course is very close to Ocean City. Fairly easy to play but challenging to score well. You can spray the ball around a little and still have a shot.

Real nice course, not too difficult if you keep it close to the fairway, stray to much and you'll find woods, heavy rough, trees and water. Trust me, I found them all.
The greens were nice, real fast, Diabolicall at times, what I imagine the pro's deal with every week

I played this course with my dad and friends and we all loved it. I cant wait until the next time I can sneak away to play Bay Club east.

Extremely slow play. Course was in good shape. Friendly staff but need the Marshall to do their jobs. Group ahead of us were all over the place including driving on the par 3s and greens.

I entered fair for course condition because we had a lot of rain and snow this past month and it was really wet.The course was cart path only this week .

I came as a single, the staff and starters were very accommodating, got paired with 3 others. The pace was great for a Saturday, under 4 hours. Course still in winter conditions, greens had just been sanded (heavily).

Conditions were not as good as (2) other area courses played prior to playing this course. Very full and play was slow.

Course was aerated 3 weeks ago, and despite our worries about the condition of the greens, they were fine. However, the fairways and rough were very stressed from this summer's weather, and will need much TLC to bring them back to the conditions they should be in at this time of the year. Price we paid through Golf Now was appropriate, but we would have been highly disappointed if we paid rack rate.

Fairways were destroyed in some areas. Some portions of fairway seemed like a swamp. Course conditions could have been better and given the mild summer it has me scratching my head. Not worth $45/round.

Tees, fairways, greens all in good condition. Although the said the greens were aerated, this was ten days ago and they were very playable.
