The Bay Club in Berlin, just a few miles from Ocean City, boasts two 18-hole championship courses, the West and the East. Both golf courses play through mature woodlands but they also incorporate plenty of water. In fact, the original West Course is the more well known course due to its famous island green hole. Aptly nicknamed "Devil's Island," this treacherous par 3 is both the signature hole and an Eastern Shore landmark. Not only is the green surrounded by hills that slope back into the water, the hole also plays into prevailing wind. Golfers will need proper club selection a good strategy and a bit of luck to tackle this hole. The layout is also home to the "Green Monster," a massive double green that serves the ninth and 18th holes.

Good layout, BUT...
The course layout was great... I played from the blue tees, and it provided the right challenge for driving and second shots. The course does need some TLC, however, with overgrown areas and crab grass prevelent on every hole of the west course
Basic golf
Good 36 hole layout mostly tree lined. Very friendly staff and they do a great job with the course considering the amount play and the low cost. Great course for beginners but challenging enough from the tips for the low handicapper. .
Friendly, well maintained. Challenging from blue tees.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We happened to arrive when there was a junior clinic occupying the chipping area, which was a tad disappointing, but did not take away from our overall experience. The course was in great shape, especially greens. Would have been a 5 star rating, but the sand traps could use some work.

Nice layout with some challenging holes.Nice par 3's. Greens are a little slow but puttable.
The west course was beautiful, and well maintained.
Beautiful wide open fairways. Very well maintained, and a friendly staff. The perfect day out during my beach vacation.

Ok course. Would not return. A couple of holes that were very strange. One par 3 had a lady pitching pro shop credit if you hit the green. I really hate being approached with that while I am paying to play. My buddy did enter, hit the green, and later went it to redeem his shop credit. Only to be told that the lady was not affiliated with the course and what she said was incorrect. My buddy asked to talk to a manager and the issue was resolved.

The course was in perfect shape, really enjoyed the complete layout. The entire staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome
The Bay Club West Course was challenging with one island par 3, another with 3 sides water and over the water to finish on a beautiful par 5 18th.
Played the West course at 3pm. A twosome. Considering very cool spring weather the course was in great shape. Fairways and greens very playable, rough was thick but playable and not unfair.
This course requires course management, but is very fair and challenging. Just the way we like it.
We played just before the Memorial Day weekend in this resort area, and at twilight we really never saw anyone in front or behind. We took our time and soaked up the great weather.
The people in the pro-shop and at the bag drop were very nice and fun to talk to.
We were treated like royalty even though we only paid $25 each through Golf Now.
Highly recommend this experience.
